Big Day

"Oh my gosh, sweetie! I can't believe it!" Jenna Geyer squealed on the verge of tears as she ran over to hug her son. "You look wonderful, I can't believe my baby boy is getting married today! Time flies so fast," A tear fell down on her cheek, as she caressed her son's face gently.

"I can't believe it either, ma. I just hope Theo won't run away and leave me hanging." Liam laughed but his mother didn't. She wiped away the wet trail off of her face and gave him a serious look. "Liam Dunbar, you are the most wonderful person in the whole wide world. And believe me, I've had you under my heart for nine months and I've known you your whole life. Any girl...and boy would kill just to have you. And Theo knows it too. He knows he'd chosen right. Trust me on this one, okay?" "Okay, ma."

"...and do you, Liam Dunbar, take Theodore Raeken as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" Theo looked Liam deeply in the eyes. Suddenly, the whole room went silent to Liam, as he could only focus on the fact, that here he was, standing in front of the priest, about to marry the love of his life.

Theo's eyes were full of love, as he was patiently waititng for Liam's answer. He was waiting, but he already knew the answer. Liam's heart already said the truth. Now the two were just cherishing this wonderful moment. "I do."

The rings were given to the priest and both boys exchanged them, while being watched by Liam's pack and parents. "I take this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness towards you." Theo muttered almost inaudibly, only for Liam to hear.

"I can't believe it!" Theo howled as he left the church, hand in hand with Liam. "I can't believe that you're officially mine now and I have proof, Mr. Liam RAEKEN." Theo was very proud and his grin showed. "You know that you're adorable, right?" Liam laughed and kissed his husband lovingly. "It sounds better than I expected, babe."

"Theo!" A call came out of nowhere and Theo started looking around, trying to find who was calling him. After all, all of the people here were basically from Liam's side, since Theo had no one. "Huh?" "Theo, darling!" It was Jenna, Liam's mom, running up to them in high heels with arms streched out wide. Before Theo could react, he was grasped and yanked into a tight hug. "My boy, welcome to the family! I'm so incredibly happy for you two!" Theo was in shock. Never did he get a hug from anyone except Liam, especially not from a motherly figure.

He slowly wrapped his arms around his new mom-in-law and broke out of the shock. "Thank you, Mrs. Geyer. This really means a lot to me." He said softly and rested his head on her shoulder. Liam and his stepdad were standing behind them in complete silence, watching this bonding act in awe.

"Oh please! Mrs. Geyer is Liam's granny! You call me Jenna or even mom, if that's okay with you, honey. What's more comfortable to you, okay?" She smiled lovingly and stroked Theo's cheek, as she did to Liam before the ceremony. Theo still had a hard time processing all the love, but he managed to smile. "Thank you so much... mom." It was like a sting to Theo's chest. The word wasn't familiar with him at all. It was strange, but it felt amazing. Theo finally felt that he belonged somewhere and there were people, who actually loved him. They didn't pretend it. They loved him, because Theo loved their only son.

"A-Aren't you mad?" Theo spat out suddenly, staring at Jenna a bit nervously. "About what, dear? I don't see your point." Jenna smiled. "About Liam having my last name..."

"Theo, darling, why on Earth should I be mad? Liam chose it that way. You two agreed on it. It's none of my business. My business is to want only the best for my son. And by the look on his face," Jenna gazed over at her son, whose smile was almost tearing his face in half, "I see you're the best for him. Besides, he'll always be my son and a different surname won't change a thing about that. Plus, I also have a different surname! I took my husband's last name too, because I love him with my whole heart. And Liam exchanged his dad's last name for yours, since you're clearly more important to him, Theo."

Jenna grabbed Theo's hand and lead him over to Liam. "Here you go, honey. I think this one belongs to you." Liam smiled as Theo grabbed his hand and squeezed it lovingly.
"Now let's go grab something to eat, boys. Plus, I wouldn't want to miss your first dance!" Jenna smirked.

"Oh shit, I completely forgot about this part!" Theo laughed and slapped his forehead dramatically. "Don't worry, babe, I'll lead you." "In your dreams, baby wolf."
