After a long remaining few days of the week, it was finally winter break. Jimin had planned the morning out for himself, though he knew that he was going to see Yoongi later in the afternoon, which made him a considerable amount happier.
He was sitting on the couch with a cup of warm, and possibly burnt, if that was even possible, cup of hot chocolate. His hands were warm, the fuzzy feeling traveling from the tips of his fingers into his core, bringing a happy feeling that he longed to feel everyday. On the table in front of him, he had a pastry, warmed up and ready to eat when he decided it would be right.
A few days earlier, as a congratulations for finals, Ryujin had brought him a hot chocolate along with a few packets of hot chocolate mix and a warm pastry, the former of which he saved until a few days later. He didn't know if it had molded, nor did he care, since it was bringing him a sort of comfort as he sat peacefully.
For the first time in a long time, even if that long time was only two weeks or so, he felt a sense of peace. There was nothing bothering him. Although for that particular reason, he was a little more on edge, but only because something normally happened when he let himself go in this way.
But he ignored that and continued on, wondering what the rest of the day would add to this feeling. Or subtract, depending on how his time with Yoongi went. As always, he figured it would be fine; it would be much of the same.
Jimin began thinking more, and by the time he began nervously tugging at his pajama top, he knew he needed to do something about his attire. Even though it was slow, the very feeling of not being prepared for anything that might happen was eating at him.
So as soon as finished up his drink and his pastry, which he began thinking had in fact molded, he got up from the couch and shuffled to his bedroom. The door was wide open, his cat sitting next to the carpet lining the bottom that kept the sun out.
"Moon, what are you doing here? Silly boy," Jimin laughed, picking up the shivering furball and walking over to his bed to place him down, letting him rest on the blankets. "Really should start eating your food, I'm worried about you."
Moon remained frozen in place on the bed in the blankets, so Jimin figured it was time to move on with everything else he was doing. He was probably worrying too much. So he scratched the cat behind its ears until he purred, then smiled and left him to peace.
Jimin collected his sweatshirt and pants, slipping a pair of socks on top of the pile. Sure, he knew that Yoongi was going to get upset with him for not wearing heavier clothing, but then again, he didn't really mind it. Besides, he was sure they would be mostly inside places that had heaters, so he would only be cold when they were outside.
He didn't even have a good estimate of the time he was meeting Yoongi, though he wanted to prepare himself for it anyway.
So he went to take a shower quickly, then got out and dried himself off, not having any interesting thoughts to spare for the mood in between. When he was standing, with his hair dripping onto the tile in front of the mirror, he got the grand idea to sneak into Jeongguk's room.
He didn't know why, but he had a particular urge to smell good. Not like he didn't smell decent, but he wanted to be particularly attractive, if that was even a good enough word to describe it. To make Yoongi think he smelled good, whether he commented or not. Which one he wanted he didn't know, but he did know that Jeongguk wouldn't mind.
Not exactly.
But the scent of his perfume didn't go well with his clothing, and he did know that Jeongguk had some clothes in his room that did fit him. Did he want to take the clothes without asking?
