"Hang on! Can I see that clam again?"
"Yeah," the Doctor showed him it. "Sure."
Max stared at it for a solid minute. "Oh my god!"
"What?"
"OH MY GOD!"
"WHAT!?"
Max breathed heavily in panic. "You say the Assassin left you that?"
"It must have been," the Doctor nodded.
"You're absolutely sure," Max nodded.
"I think so," the Doctor wrapped his arms around the bars. "The clam was here when I got back to my cell."
Max took a step back and slowly nodded his head. "I know who the Coordinator is. I know who assassinated the president."
"Who!" The Doctor rolled his eyes.
Max stared right at the Doctor.
"It was the Judge."
The Doctor paused. "How do you know?"
"I saw that clam in his office earlier," Max continued. "Problem is, last time I saw Sophie, she was chasing after the Judge."
"Oh my god get after them!" The Doctor yelled. "He's already killed two people, he wont hesitate to kill a third."
"Right," Max ran off, leaving the Doctor alone with his fate.

"Please," Sophie sat down in front of the Judge's desk.
They were back in his messy office, she had chased him there to persuade him to change his mind.
"Now that the Doctor is back, you can keep the trial going and find out why he isnt guilty," Sophie explained.
"The verdict has already been decided," the Judge sat down in his chair, facing Sophie across his workspace. "As far as the court is concerned, he is guilty."
"But he was kidnapped, by the real assassin," Sophie pleaded. "Surely you have to look into that before the execution."
The Judge picked up the files on the Doctor's kidnap and examined them closely. "Its a dead end case," he sighed.
"Do you, personally think that he did it?" Sophie asked.
"My opinion is irrelevant," the Judge bit his lip. "I've had pressure from the higher ups to get this case wrapped up quickly."
"The Coordinator!" Sophie hit the desk with her fist. "They are probably the person putting pressure on you!"
"Okay!" The Judge yelled. "I've had enough of this, the verdict has been called and your friend is sentenced to die later today. There's nothing anyone can do to stop that."
Sophie leant back and let out a large sigh of disbelief.
The Judge raised an eyebrow as he stood up and grabbed two drinking glasses. "I think we both need a drink."
He picked up a bottle of light blue alcohol and poured it slowly into both glasses. When Sophie wasn't looking, he took a small plastic bag from his pocket and poured the powdery contents into one of the drinks.
He put the spiked drink at Sophie's side and sipped from his glass. He waited anxiously for her to take a drink.
"Y'know," Sophie shook her head. "I'd only just met the Doctor when all of this started."
"Yeah?" The Judge listened intently, pretending to care.
"I've only known him for this short period of time but," Sophie paused, lifting the glass of drink into her hand. "He seems so differant, unlike anybody I've ever met. Not that I'd remember though."
