The light on the table of the Tardis Medical Centre lowered as the Doctor woke up.

He immediately jumped off the table. "The Lightning Man!"

"Max has gone off to fight him," Sophie explained.

"What?" The Doctor gasped. "He doesn't stand a chance!"

They both ran through a series of Tardis corridors until they returned to the console room and ran out of the doors.

The Doctor instantly stared up at the sky. "The Lightning Man is harnessing power from The Dark Dimension. He's gonna use it to destroy the world. We've got to stop him!"

They both ran down the streets of the village until they returned to the Power Station.

"Doctor?" Sophie started a conversation with the Doctor as they were breaking through the warehouse.

"Yeah," the Doctor arrived at the hole in the wall.

"Max still thinks I'm tied up in all of this somehow," Sophie bit her lip. "And I might be."

"You seem different," the Doctor raised an eyebrow.

"Might be because I have my memories back," Sophie grinned.

"Oh!" The Doctor looked happily at her. "That's great!"

"I'm Sophie Tribula, from Earth a few centuries after this. Was picked out to be a Time Agent at the age of 16. The last thing I remember was being on a Zygon ship and being ejected into space."

"Nice to finally know you Sophie Tribula," the Doctor nodded. "And at least we now know what ties you to the Zygons but I think there might be a few more memories that havent come back yet."

Sophie nodded as she pointed to the hole in the wall. "Come on then, let's save the world."

"Or die trying," the Doctor smiled at her before crawling through the hole to the ruins on the other side.

"Doctor!" Max ran up to them as they both got to their feet.

"Max!" The Doctor greeted his friend. "Update?"

"The Lightning Man," Max pointed up at the sky. "From what I understand he's organized a second strike, only this time it's a bolt that comes from the dark dimension. He's using remaining power from the tower to open the portal that releases the strike that destroys Earth. It's not looking good."

"Ah, the rest of the gang is here," the Lightning Man flew towards them. "You do realise that there is nothing you or anybody can do to stop that strike, this is the end of the world."

"I wont let you get away with this," the Doctor shook his head. "Its evil, completely out of order and why has Max not blinked a single time since we reunited with him."

"Now!" The Lightning Man yelled as Max knocked the Doctor to the floor.

"Max!" Sophie cried.

"He's under my control," the Lightning Man yelled. "You're all under my control! In less than 2 minutes this pitiful world will die! Revenge is sweet."

"No!" Sophie screamed as he whole body lit up with Lightning.

The Lightning Man observed Sophie carefully. "What are you?"

Sophie stared at her hands which red Lightning lit up from. "I don't know."

The Lightning Man turned to Max. "Grab her."

Max grabbed Sophie by the arm but Lightning from her body surged through Max's.

Max screamed as the bracelet on his wrist exploded and fell off. He collapsed to the ground as Sophie looked up at the sky and saw the bolt crashing down to Earth.

Sophie felt her heart beating in her chest as everything that was about to happen went in slow motion.

He raced as fast as she could to the lightnings point of impact and leaped as high into the air as she could.

The Doctor looked up and yelled. "Sophie! NO!"

Zap! Boom!

The single bolt of lightning hit her and caused an explosion that blew up the whole village.

The explosion was so powerful that the time vortex around Sophie opened sending bolts of Lightning through her time stream.

"Cant believe social media is still a thing this far in the future," Sophie shook her head.

Max looked at her confused. "Getting a bit of pre-memory wipe memories?"

Sophie hadn't even noticed. "You're right, I am."

"Anything else coming to you?" Max asked.

Sophie thought really hard.

Zap!

A bolt of red lightning flew out of her hand.

"What on earth was that?" Max stared at her hand, confused.

"I dont-" Sophie cut herself off as she looked at Evelyn's socials. "Look!"

He reached for his gun and pointed it at Max's head. "I'm gonna enjoy this."

Zap!

A bolt of red lightning hit the Coordinator launching him off Max and slamming him into the wall.

The assassin was knocked out.

Max looked around and saw Sophie reaching her hand out towards him, red lightning radiated around her entire body.

"Who are you?" Max asked in awe.

The lightning faded away as Sophie fell to the floor unconscious.

As Sophie was being struck by the Lightning, her missing memory came back. Her surroundings formed around her.

She was hurtling through the frozen vacuum of space and the Zygon Invasion fleet was flying towards her.

Suddenly, lightning formed around her and it fired at the entire Zygon fleet, it was destroyed.

Inside the remaining Zygon ship, the Zygon commander stared at the visual screens in horror.

"Pick that up that female and put her in maximum security," the Zygon Commander order. "See to it she is never released again."

In real time, the Doctor and Max stared on in horror at Sophie absorbing the Lightning Bolt.

"No," the Lightning Man screamed as he ran over and lunged at Sophie. "NOOOOO!"

The Doctor pulled out his sonic and pointed it at the sky. "Sealing the portal!"

"How?" Max yelled.

"Sophie's absorbed most of the energy!" The Doctor explained. "So now!"

Boom!

The portal sealed and the Lightning Man dissapeared inside Sophie.

"Whoa!" Max pointed at Sophie lying on the ground. "Where's the Lightning Man gone?"

The Doctod scanned Sophie with his sonic and frowned at the readings. "I don't know how, or why? But they've been fully fused together. Let's get her back to the Tardis Medical Centre immediately."

They both carried her not only over the ruins of the Power Station, but the whole village. The Tardis stood elegantly in a ditch as they carried her inside.

Later on, stood over Sophie's unconscious body, they spoke.

"Its my fault," the Doctor sighed. "I should've done something."

"Like what?" Max crossed his arms. "It sent bolts down her time stream. It's a fixed point. It had to happen."

"Yeah," the Doctor nodded. "I guess. I'm gonna land the Tardis in the Gardens of Tondola, it's said to have healing powers."

"Good idea," Max sighed. "Seeing if she's okay, it's just a waiting game now."
