Chapter 18

Chase-right now I'm in the hospital with mr. and mrs. Bryan because when we walked back into the house Abby was laying on the ground having a cesure. All I knew was to just pick her up and take her out to the truck then go to the hospital. The doctors said she will be fine but to keep a close eye on her. The doctors came out and told us that we could go back and see her so I shot up out of my seat and sprinted to her room. When I reached it I was out of breath and had tears forming in my eyes, tears of joy that she was ok.
"Abby baby I'm here, I'm here. You scared me so much I didn't know what to do.

Well I couldn't find you guys and I got scared, laid on the floor and here I am."

The doctor interrupted us.
"Abby is free to leave the hospital tonight right after visiting hours.

Thank you."

That night I laid there with Abby and I was thinking, I can't propose to her. Were too young. Abby is still a miner and so am I but everything would just go down hill if I married her. I didn't even buy that ring, it was my mothers and she wanted me to put it on Abby if we got married. I couldn't sleep at all last night thinking about Abby and making sure she was ok.

Abby-the next morning I woke up just fine and I could actually open my eyes this time. Thank god. I didn't want to wake chase up so I just laid there with him. When he woke up he must have thought I was still asleep because he kissed my cheek and said "keep sleeping my girl." he's so sweet. He went to take a shower so I went downstairs and made breakfast for everyone. When it was done I fixed everyone's plates and sat them on the table then I grabbed a cup of coffee and went to sit on the front porch swing. It's so peaceful out here. The only thing you can hear is the birds and the nearby lake. Maybe later ill go to the lake and take a little swim.
