Chapter 27

Abby- When Brian broke the kiss we were both breathless. I just starred at him with a blank face as I was in shock.

"I'm sorry was it too soon?

No. No it wasn't.

So how bout some ice cream for my girl and we can talk some more?

Ice cream would be great!"
He drove us to the ice cream shop and when he pulled in to the parking lot I saw a black jacked up chevy duramax and i thought I had recognized it. When we walked in I had knew who that truck belonged to. Chase. I ignored him like I didn't see him sitting there. Me and Brian sat down an started our conversation.

"Where are we right now in our relationship, I mean I know you haven't told Chase so?

Well I'd like to think of us as dating possibly.

Ok!"
After talking for a little while we were ready to leave. When I was just about to get in Brian's truck Chase had said my name.
"Abby?

Uh, hey Chase."
Brian then came around to my side.
"Um, I know me and you are on a break but uh we're still technically dating right?

Chase look...

No, I see, and from the looks of it Brian you'll be needing this more then i'll be."
Chase got pissed and reached in his pocket and pulled out a black velvet box and through it at Brian. Brian didn't catch it which caused it to roll over by my feet. I had picked it up and looked at Chase. He was getting in his truck and leaving. I had opened the box and started to tear up. Inside was a ring. I looked at Brian and said,
"He was gonna prepose to me."
I got in Brian's truck and told him to take me home.
"Take me home, please. We'll go out some other time.

Oh, ok."
When he pulled in the driveway I wanted to walk since we have a long driveway.
"Um stop here. I'm gonna walk the rest of the way.

Ya sure?

Yeah."
I leaned over kissed Brian on the cheek and got out. He turned around and left. Half way down the driveway a truck was comin toward me.
"Hey Abby you ok where's Brian? Did he hurt you cause I can talk to him?

No Tyler it's ok he didn't hurt me, I'm just stressed over something right now and wanted to be alone.

Oh ok well if you wanna talk I'm here for ya.

Thanks Tyler."
I opened the box and teared up again and so I ran the rest of the way. I opened the front door, turned around slammed it and ran to my room as I passed mom and dad on the couch. I got to my room and Bo was in there.
"GET OUT!"
I said to him and shoved him out the door, then slammed it behind him.
