Chapter 44 Thanksgiving

Abby- for Thanksgiving I called grandma and she said we could come to her house to spend the day with her. When we got there we helped her in the kitchen with the food and setting the table. Grandpa was watching football and Bo wanted to as well.
"Sissy can I go watch football with grandpa?

Yeah buddy why not!

Thank you!"
He doesn't have to ask little things like that but he does. Me and grandma were making the pies when we got on the conversation of boys, and you know how that goes.
"So, Abby is there a someone in your life?

Haha, his names Brian, he's a really great guy!

I can always talk with my grandma about anything no matter what it is. I heard the door open and people talking.
"Oh shoot Abby I spilled some water can you grab a towel from the bathroom?

Yeah sure."
I walked to the bathroom and got a towel for her. When I came back to the kitchen my cousins and Chase were there.
"Hey Chase what are you doin here?

Your grandparents invited me over since I help your grandfather!

What do you help him with?

Oh just things around outside.

The guys then went outside for there annual football game that they have every year. I walked out behind them and a very familiar bus pulled up. BK, Tyler and my dad then stepped off it! I ran to them giving them hugs, BK being the last one held me and kissed me!
"Wanna play football?

Sure why not!"
We all joined in for a football game! It was me, Tyler, Chase, Bo and some of our cousins against, BK, dad and the other cousins! Our games can last up to 2-3 hours, depends how it goes. Every game is played in the backyard. We have our own team names that we make up and spray paint them in the yard along with the outlines of the field we create! Our team name is "Look Outs" and the other team name is "Running Winds". (don't ask about the team names cause idk either lol)
At the end of the game it was time to eat.
"Who won!?

The look outs did grandma! 15-5! Oh and i have someone i want you to meet!

Oh really who?

Grandma this is Brian, my lovely boyfriend!

Well hello there young man, you better take good care of her or somethings gonna happen to you!

Ok, lets eat!"
The house was then filled with laughter, yelling, family and friends!
