Chapter 5 Scared

Brian- I woke up to Abby cuddled up to me but I don't remember her coming back. I waited for her to wake up and when she finally did she said something before I could.
"Morning handsome.
Morning to you too beautiful.
Thanks.
May ask how you got back here last night or whenever you came back?
Sure and uh I walked back here duh.
No I mean why?
Well if you must know I was having nightmares and I couldn't sleep so I tried to watch tv but that didn't help so I figured I'd come back here and so when I did I fell right to sleep and didn't wake up once.
So does that mean you feel safe in my arms?
Yeah I guess it does."
Abby- I went back to daddy's bus to get some if my clothes but I couldn't get in because he locked it and they weren't here, AGAIN.
"Brian where'd they go this time?
I'm not supposed to tell you because you'll be very depressed.
Ok, fine be like that.
I would tell you but they want to tell you because it's none of my business and I just have to say I'm very sorry for you and your family, i know what your going through.
Wait did someone die?
No.
Then what is it?
I can't tell you."
I'm going to be so stressed out if nobody tells me and its really serious. Especially if its about someone I'm very close to.
They should be back any minute now, just calm down."
Brian- I true to get her to calm down but as soon as she heard Luke's truck she ran to him in a flash.
Luke- as soon as we got back from the hospital Abby ran strait to me.
" what happened did something go wrong what tell me?
No you tell me where you were and who it's about.
Come inside."
Abby- they told me to go inside and then we'll talk there. Is it that big of a secret.
" Abby honey look before you get into all the questions your grandmas in the hospital with cancer.
What? Which one?
Your mommas mom."
I broke out crying.
Is....sh...she gonn....gonna...make....it?
We don't know yet.
What stage?
Right now it's a stage 3 yesterday it was stage 1 so it's getting worse, we just have to keep praying and praying that she'll be fine."
I shook my head yes in agreement then I wanted to say a prayer right now so we did and I took it away.
"Lord please help my grandma through this an keep her alive because without her I don't know what I'd do. I love her so much and I know you do too. She's a sweet kind and generous woman and I still need to see that sweet kind generous woman when I walk through her front door I want her to be setting in her rocker. Amen."
After we said amen we group hugged then Bo came running out saying
"Why did you pray with out me?"
Then momma cried saying
"This is the hard one to tell."
I walked off the bus to get some air so I just walked as far as I wanted to until I was at a baseball stadium for little kids. I stopped and went to watch them. They were really good for there age. It made me remember the times when I was little and me and my grandma would go in the backyard and she would teach me how to hit the ball and when I finally got to hit it, it went over in the neighbors yard and broke there window. The only thing bobo will remember is just her not any special memories because he's so little and if she doesn't live.
I heard someone calling my name on the field and it was a little boy. I walked up to him and said
"Hey little guy do I know you?
Yeah I'm your cousin Parker."
I gasped.
"PARKER JAMES BRYAN?
Yeah that's me."
I went around the fence and picked him up and hugged him. The game was over and I talked to his mom through the game and I invited them back to the bus with me and they said sure. When we got back to the bus I wanted to make sure it was ok for them to come on the bus so I went in first to check with daddy. He said it was fine so I brought them in. After talking for awhile I took Parker outside and over to a nearby playground.
Brian-I noticed that Abby had leaded two people into there bus and then came out with the boy and went over to some set of swings. I guess I got a little jealous so I went out and said
"Who's this little stud?

Who you callin a stud you jerk?

Hey knock it off you two now, Brian this is my cous Parker, Parker this is Brian, daddy's tour buddy.

Oh ok."
Abby- they both gave each other the stink eye and I was still on my swing when Brian started to push me and as I got higher in the air he touched my butt. Then I got too high in the air and I flew off the swing flying through the air screaming.
