Kylie's Pov
I woke up and turned to face Soda. His hair was all in his face and his mouth was slightly open. I brushed his hair back with my fingers. He smiled a bit and kissed me. "Morning, babe," he said in a morning voice. His morning voice is hot. I thought to myself. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Wanna watch a movie?" Soda asked. "What type of movie?" I said flirtatiously. "Mhm. A scary movie," he said grinning. He obviously couldn't tell I wanted it to be romantic. "Scary, huh?" He nodded and I smiled. "Scary is fine with me. Which movie?" He looked at me and thought. "How about Horrors of Spider Island?" I nodded. "I haven't seen that one." He looked in shock. "How? That is a classic," he said. I shook my head. "No clue. Guess I grew up on comedies." We sat up and made our way to the living room. Soda popped in the movie and we sat back on the couch. The movie was full of jump scares and surprises. About the time the movie was finished, Natalyn came through the front door. "Hey, Nat, is school over already?" She nodded. "You do knows it 3:45 right?" She asked. I shook my head. "That late already? Wow." We all laughed and then a younger girl entered the house. "Aspen, I told you to wait outside," she said to the girl. "Aspen?" I asked looking at her. "She is my little sister. She is fourteen. She moved in with me umm. I meant we moved here together," she said looking down at her feet. I shook it off. I'll ask her about it later. "Nice to meet you, Aspen," I said with a smile. "Nice to meet you too. You sure are pretty," she said back. "Nice to meet you," Soda said waving at her. "Hi. Nice to meet you," she said. They came in and sat down. "Sorry to intrude. Dally said he'd be here. Didn't know it would take him so long." She said laughing to herself. "Are y'all dating?" I asked. She nodded. "Yeah. He asked me out after the movie." I looked at her confused. "He snuck through my window later that night. I almost broke his nose," she said which made us all laugh. Then Pony walked in with Two and Johnny. "Hi, brother. Hi, boys," Soda said to them. "Hey, Soda," Pony said. The others waved. Aspen looked over in shock. I got up and walked to the kitchen. "Hey, Aspen, could you come here and help me get coke poured for everyone?" She nodded and jumped up. Once she got into the kitchen I pulled her to the side. "Do you like Pony?" I asked. She looked embarrassed and nodded at me. "Do you like sunsets?" She looked happy. "Of course I do. I love them. The colors. The meaning behind it. They are so gorgeous," she said smiling. I nodded. "He loves them too. You should talk to him about them." She nodded and headed back into the living room. I walked back into the living room and handed everyone their cokes. Then I turned and saw Dally, Steve, and Darry. "Dang it. I'll get you guys some too." I walked back and grabbed more drinks. I passed them out and then sat down. When I looked around I realized they were finishing up meeting Aspen. I smiled when I looked over and saw her and Pony talking.

Aspen's Pov
I was talking to Pony about sunsets when he asked if I wanted to watch one. I nodded and he took my hand. I glanced back at Nat and she nodded. I then glanced at Kylie and she smiled. Pony led me outside and onto the sidewalk. "Where are we headed?" I asked. "The perfect place to watch the sunset," he said smiling at me. We took a trail into the forest and ended up at a flower field. I smiled in shock of how beautiful it was. "Wow," I said quietly. "I know. I found it with Soda last year," he said looking at me. We sat down and looked into the distance. There was a tree clearing so we could see the horizon. It began to set. The whole sky lit up with purples, yellows, pinks, and oranges. My eyes lit up watching it. "It's so beautiful." He looked over at me and smiled. His mouth opened and then closed. He smirked a bit and then went to talk. "Just like you," he said looking at me. I blushed and looked away from him. He grinned and looked back at the sky. "It reminds me of something." He turned to me after I said that. "What?" He said facing me. "Well, it reminds me of everything before my parents died. It was peaceful until my parents got into a fight with my sister. They kicked her out and she moved in with my aunt. Not to long after, my parents got in a car wreck and I moved here to live with her. She is the best thing in my life, and it really affected me when she moved away," I said letting a tear drip down my cheek. He pulled into a hug and ran his fingers through my hair. "Hey, it's ok. My parents died in a car wreck too. My brother Darry is raising me and Soda. He can't live the life he was supposed to because he is held back by us." I could tell he was about to cry. I returned the hug and why stayed there for a bit. It felt like hours passed. "We better get back before I get in trouble," I said. He nodded and we got up. He grabbed my hand and led me back through the forest. Even if he wasn't holding my hand in a romantic way, it still made my heart skip a beat when he grabbed it.
