Kylie's Pov
We pulled up into the Curtis's driveway. I lifted the door handle and swung open the door. Before I could get out of the truck, Soda picked me up bridal style and carried me into the house. "Soda, you don't have to carry me," I said into his neck. He twitched a bit and I realized it tickled him. "I know, but I don't want you to get hurt," he said in a protective jester. He sounded cute when he was all protective over me. I didn't want to argue so I just laid my head down on his shoulder. Once we made it to his bedroom, he laid me down on the bed. He sat on the edge and looked at me. He moved a piece of hair and put it behind me hear. I smiled at him. "The girls want to have a girls day with you tomorrow," he said smiling. "Natalyn and Aspen?" I asked. He nodded. "That sounds nice," I said looking at the wall and thinking about how the day would go. "Would you like to go on a date when you get back from your trip?" I looked up at him and nodded, smiling wide. "I'd love to," I said receiving a huge grin. He kissed my cheek and headed for the door. "Where are you going?" He turned around and laughed. "To watch Tv," he said. "Can I come with you?" He smiled and nodded. I sat up and followed him out the door. He sat on the couch and I laid on top of him. He played with my hair and I closed my eyes. Sleeping didn't sound too bad.

When I woke up, it was 6am. I got up from Soda's lap and went into his room. I still had some clothes in his closet. I grabbed a purple dress and put it on. I wore some black heels and put my hair into a curled ponytail. I went into the bathroom and put on some chapstick and mascara. When I left the bathroom I saw Soda looking at me. He yawned and wiped his eyes. "You look good," he said smiling. I smiled back and laughed. "Thanks. This way I can go on our date right when I get back." He nodded and I went into the bedroom to grab my purse. I checked to see how much cash I had. $300. I guess that is how it works when you are the richest Soc in the town. Looking at the money made me think back to my dad and brother. His reputation is ruined. He has affected my families reputation too. My dad was CEO of a company that makes cars. My thoughts were interrupted by the phone ranging. "Kylie, it's for you!" Soda yelled to me. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed the phone. "Hello?" I said. "Hey, cuz. It's Beckah. I haven't talked to you in a while. I heard about Uncle Henry. I'm so sorry, Kylie. Maybe we could hang out, like old times." I looked down at the ground. Rebeckah is on my moms side of the family. Once my mom married my dad, they didn't really associate with my greaser side of the family. I hadn't seen Beckah since I was 5. "I'm going in a girls day with some friends. You could come," I told her. I think I heard her squeal. "I'd love to. I'll bring some money." I smiled at her high pitched voice. "Ok. I'll pick you up at 10," I said before hanging up. "Who was it?" Soda asked. "It was my cousin. I haven't seen her since I was five," I said twiddling my thumbs, "you know because she is a greaser." He nodded and then smiled at me. "I'm glad you are seeing her again. You looked happy on the phone." I looked down and smiled. I walked back to the bedroom and finished getting around. When I was done I walked back into the living room and kissed Soda on the cheek. "Leaving already?" He asked a bit upset. I nodded. "I gotta go, or I'll be late." He nodded but looked sad. I gave him a goodbye kiss which made him smile. I walked out the door and got into my car. I was driving down a road that I had seen before. It wasn't hard to remember where Beckah lives. Once I found her house, I pulled up into the driveway. I got out and knocked on the door. The door swung open and out ran Beckah. "Hurry. Let's go," she said in between breaths. I jumped back in the car and we drove off. "Why were you in a hurry to leave?" I asked her. She turned and looked at me and sighed. "Do you remember when my dad would come home drunk?" She asked. I nodded and she continued. "Well it got worse, and it affected my mom too. They beat me a lot but I always run back to them," she said letting tears drip down her face. I turned to her and wiped the tears away. "It's ok, Beckah. Just stay at my house. We'd love to have you," I said forcing a smile, even though what she said made me really upset. She nodded and smiled a bit. We eventually showed up at the strip mall. Nat and Aspen were waiting outside their car. "Hey girls!" I said jumping out my car and running to them. We hugged and then Beckah walked up to us. "Hey, guys. I'm Rebeckah, Kylie's cousin. But y'all can call me Beckah," Beckah said introducing herself. They nodded and all exchanged hugs. We entered the mall and I immediately went looking for Christmas gifts. All the girls split up and we decided we would meet at the food court in 2 hours. I had a couple of gift ideas in mind already. I hope everyone would enjoy them.
