~Chapter Nineteen~

Kylie's Pov
   I was sitting on the floor, playing with my ring while Charlie lay in my lap asleep. Soda was at work, and would be done in an hour. It had been two weeks since the proposal aka Christmas. I am so in love with this boy. Everyday I sit and admire the ring for hours, wondering how I got so lucky. I looked up from my ring and at the wall. Everything was working out so well. Pony and Aspen got together. They are so cute. Not to mention, Beckah and Johnny. Legit worlds cutest couple. Beckah and Johnny live in Tim's basement together. I'm glad they both got away from their abusive families. I got up and slowly laid Charlie on the couch, next to Dally. He was cuddled up to Natalyn. A pregnant Natalyn. Found out last week. Everyone freaked out. They are moving into the country. I'm happy for them. But I'll miss them so much. Natalyn is leaving Aspen here. Only because Pony begged Darry, who would have said yes anyways. I thought and laughed to myself. I got up and walked to the kitchen. Darry was going through bills. I hadn't seeing his frustration. His birthday was in a day, but I decided I'd give him his gift today. I ran to me and Soda's room and grabbed a brown paper bag. I walked back out into the kitchen and stood by the table. Darry looked up at me and laughed. "What are you doing with a sack lunch?" I looked at him and laughed. "This isn't a sack lunch. This is actually your birthday present. I want you to have it now," I said throwing the bag down. He shook his head. "I said no gifts," he said staring at me sternly. I crossed my arms. "And I said I didn't care," I said laughing. He laughed and took the sack, shaking his head. He unrolled the bag and his eyes dropped. He grabbed a little note and read it. I laughed and ran back to the room and carried out a suitcase. I popped it on the table. "Kylie, this isn't real?" He said astonished. I nodded. "It is," I said grinning. He dumped the sack and unzipped the suitcase revealing half a million dollars. "Where did you get all this?" I laughed. "I've been saving up. This is one fifth of my savings account. I don't need it since I'm going to college through a scholarship and I'll save the rest for a house of my own." He smiled at me. I then noticed the tears. He jumped up and hugged me tight. "I love you so much, Kylie. Soda is a lucky guy. And I'm lucky to have you as a sister-in-law," he said with joy. I laughed and hugged him back. He released the hug and looked at me. "You don't know how many things this could help with," he said staring at the money. "Do whatever. I thought it would help with payment and bills. Maybe even college for you and Pony," I said looking over towards the armchair that Pony slept in. He smiled and nodded. I went over to Pony and tucked him in with a blanket. Aspen was with her aunt for the night. Her aunt had kicked Natalyn out due to the pregnancy. I felt bad for her, but I was happy she was happy with life. I looked at the clock. Soda is coming back home. I walked to the door and left the house. I sat on the porch swing of the porch and waited. Not to long, Soda and Steve came waking up to me. "Hey guys," I said. Soda came over and kissed me and Steve hugged me and then walked into the house. "Two stay the night with Beckah and Johnny?" Soda asked. I nodded. "Anyone else not here?" I thought for a moment and then shook my head. I shook my head. "Nope. Why?" He shrugged. "I don't know. Just was wondering. Wanna go for a walk?" I nodded and jumped up, taking his hand in mine. Our feet led us to the DX. "Wanting to go back to work already?" I teased him. He laughed and we walked towards the shop. When we entered, candles were everywhere and so were rose petals. I smiled and looked back at Soda. "What is this for?" I asked. He smiled his goofy smile and walked over to the table, pulling out a chair. "Just wanted to go on a date with you," he said. I laughed and sat down. "This is lovely," I said. He smiled. "Thanks. Me and Steve spent a lot of time on this," he said laughing. I giggled a bit and noticed an envelope. "What is this?" I asked picking it up. He smiled and looked at me. "Read it," he said. I opened it and read it. "You are going to college for cars? Soda that's great," I said smiling. He smiled back. "That's not all," he said grinning. "I also saved up a lot of money and bought us a house. A house on the Soc side. That's ok though. It has 2 stories and is beautiful. Like you. It is perfect for when we have kids," he said smiling. Him saying this made me think about how wonderful it would be to raise kids with him. I smiled and looked at him. "It's perfect. I love it," I said kissing him. He smiled and looked into my eyes. "I love you."
