When we got downstairs I was trampled with hugs, but no one said anything. As everyone let go they all just smiled at me. Not saying a word. Alright, well this is getting awkward.
I finally decided to walk into the kitchen and Luke was happily at my side. When I went in Melody was there sitting at the table.
As I went to see what she made, she looked up to see me and Luke. “Hey, I didn’t hear you come down the stairs. Did you just come down?” she was smiling as she got up and walked over to the cabinet to grab 2 plates. “Yeah, I was attacked with hugs but no one said anything, they all just smiled at me. It was kind of awkward.” I said grabbing the plates from her and fishing out the pasta she made for us. She made spaghetti which was my favorite. I went over to the fridge and grabbed 2 sodas for Luke and I and we sat down at the table with Melody.
“Yeah, well when I came downstairs they all asked if you were up, when I told them you were they all started asking me questions and I just walked away. They probably don’t want to bombard you with questions because they feel like it is just adding on to what happened, so they thought asking me all the questions would be better.” Melody said giggling, I smiled her and gave a little giggle.
“Well I was kind of expecting it but I am kind of glad it didn’t happen.” I said with a mouthful of pasta and my hand in front of my mouth. Melody just rolled her eyes at that and I blew her off. She hated when I talked with my mouthful but sometimes I couldn’t help it.
After we ate, Luke and I went out and sat on the deck. He was sitting on a lawn chair and I was sitting on his lap. The sun was setting and the sky was beautiful. Luke was stroking the small of my back making little circles and it was making shivers go up my back every time he hit my spine. I looked at him and decided to say “Tell me something I don’t know about you.” He looked at me and smiled. “Alright, umm every night I have a glass of milk before I go to bed. Now, tell me something about you.” He said putting his head into my neck. I could feel his lips travel up and down my neck making me melt. “You know when you do that I can’t think straight.” I said giggling. I could feel him smile as he started sponging light kisses on my neck. “You didn’t answer yet.” I felt his hot breath on my skin and it made me melt, again.
I was trying to think when I spat out, “I can’t whistle.” Luke looked up at me amused. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that.
“You can’t whistle?” He asked smiling.
“Nope, see” I made my lips into a little O and went to whistle but nothing came out, only air. He started laughing and I shrugged. “I never learned.” I said smiling at him as he was looking up at me.
“Here make your lips into an O again, let me try to help.” He said making his lips into an O. He whistled a couple times and after every time I would try but no sound would come out. Eventually when I would go to whistle I would just start laughing. I couldn’t help it, it was so funny, him trying to help and me failing epically.
He did it again and when I went to try and whistle he kissed me. It was a nice kiss to might I just add. When we pulled apart he was smiling at me “Just because you can’t whistle doesn’t mean you can’t use your lips for something else.” He said winking at me. I bit my lip and he put his head into my neck again doing the same thing he was doing before.
I kept asking him to tell me things about him that I didn’t know and he gladly answered every time and then he would ask me.
Here are the 7 things I learned about Luke Brooks: He drinks a glass of milk every night before he goes to bed, if he could be any animal it would be a bird, if he could move anywhere he would move to Hawaii, he has a fear of crossing roads, he hates it when people don’t try to tell him and Jai apart, he doesn’t like swearing too much, and he plays the guitar.
