You're meeting you're best friend, James, at Starbucks for lunch. You show up and see James sitting in a booth, but he's not alone. You walk up to him and he smiles. "(Y/N), I'm glad you could make it. I want to introduce you to my girlfriend, Amy." You feel your heart break and tears forming. You try to hide the fact that you're hurt, so you smile and shake her hand. You've loved James ever since you guys were younger, but you never told him because you were scared he wouldn't feel the same way. You stayed and chatted with them for a while, but then decided to go home. As soon as you get home, you start crying. You're in the middle of crying when your phone vibrates. You look and see that James is calling you. "Hello?" You say into the phone. "(Y/N), are you okay? You ran out without even saying goodbye!" He says. You wipe your tears and find the strength to talk. "Yes, James , I'm fine" you say, even though you're lying. "(Y/N), I know you're lying. Tell me what's wrong" he insists. You finally decide to tell him the truth. You tell James that you love him, and that you've loved him ever since the first day you met. At first he's silent, so you think he's mad. You hang up and start to cry again. A few minutes later, you hear a knock at your door. You open it and see James standing there. You begin to say something but he cuts you off and starts to sing.
