25: Emergency

JoJo sat in the practice room, stretching for their show. And she was content, up until JP strolled in.

" Back the fuck off creep!" She snapped before he could even open my mouth.

" You didn't heard what I had to say." He replied.

" I don't wanna hear it." She stated.

" Even if I could make it worth your while?" He asked.

" Why does everybody say that- NO." She rolled her eyes.

" Come on, you want an upgrade?" He gestured go himself.

" Ew, no." She wrinkled her nose.

" Come on-"

" Look, if you don't escort yourself out of this room right now, I am going to remove your testicles." She threatened.

" She'll do it!" Sky appeared at the door. JP stared at JoJo, almost trying to decide if she would actually do it.

" Right...." He walked out.

" JoJo, you're a badass!" Katrina, one of their castmates, shouted from somewhere down the hall.

-INTERMISSION-

Ben immediately pull JoJo into the wings to kiss her.

" Subtle." She smirked as JP walked by.

" I try." He winked.

Bexley and Josh their way to her dressing room where Penny was hanging out.

" Hey kiddo." Josh smiled.

" Hi!" She grinned, glancing up from her drawing.

" Whatcha coloring?" Bexley glanced over her shoulder.

" Us." She held up a picture of three stick figures. A short on and two tall ones.

" Daddy's is the tallest because he's a lot taller than you, then there's you, and me in the middle!" She explained. Josh and Bexley shared a happy glance.

" Do you like it?" Penny asked.

" I love it." Josh smiled.

" Sky!" Cara hopped on his back, causing them to tumble to the ground.

" You gotta warn me next time." He groaned, rolling over.

" Sorry liebling." She giggled. He rolled his eyes, flashing a smile. She leaned over his chest.

" It's a good thing you're cute." He poked her in the side.

" Is that the only reason you keep me around?" She questioned suggestively.

" What the hell did I just walk into?" Anthony stood a few feet away.

Josh was sleeping, peacefully. Until a very quiet but persistent knock came from the door. He carefully untangled himself from Bexley, making his way over to the door.

" We have an emergency." Ben stood on the other side of the door. Josh waited for him to proceed.

" We have no more chips." Ben exclaimed. Josh did not look impressed.

" You got me out of bed, for this?" Josh yawned.

" Yep." Ben nodded.

" Anyone else going?" Josh questioned.

" Sky, Nick, Michael, DeMarius, Jeff, Chaz, Nico, Anthony, and Iain." Ben replied.

" And you need me why?"

" It's a Newsies trip." Ben shrugged.

" You do realize both our wives played Newsies at one point?" Josh cocked an eyebrow.

" Guysies trip." Ben corrected.

" Fine, give me a minute." Josh sighed. He quietly made his way into the room.

" Be safe, don't get a arrested, please be back before Penny wakes up." Bexley said from their bed.

" How much did you hear?" Josh chuckled.

" All of it. I notice when you get out of bed, Josh." She smirked, not that he could see very well from the dim lights cast through the windows. He threw on a pair of sweatpants and a jacket before walking over to the bed.

" I'll be safe. I won't get arrested, not promises on the guys. And I will be back before both of you wake up." He promised, pressing a kiss to her lips.

" Love you." She muttered.

" Love you too." He pressed another kiss to her temple.

He made his way out of the room, and down to the lobby.

" I hate you all." Josh muttered.

" Aw, is Josh grumpy?" Sky teased.

" I was very comfortable, I'll have you know." He stated.

" I'm sure." Iain chuckled.

" Let's paint this town red!" Jeff cheered as they made their way to the store.

" Bexley said not to get arrested." Josh stated.

" Let's not do that." Jeff amended his previous statement.

" She say anything else?" Anthony asked.

" Be safe, be back before Penny woke up, and that she loves me." Josh shrugged.

" Aw, you guys are cute." DeMarius smiled.

" You act like you haven't known us since before we got married." Josh shook his head.

" They're just being annoying." Iain chuckled.

" Come on guys." Ben laughed.

It was 3:30 by the time Josh got back. He quickly changed back into his sleep clutches, crawling back into bed.

" That was quick." Bexley murmured as she rolled over.

" We were gone for three hours." Josh threw his arm over her waist.

" I wasn't expecting to see you till six." She whispered.

" Oh, no. But you may get a few complaints about me being annoying later on." He stated.

" Did you miss me?" She teased quietly.

" All the time." Josh nodded.

" Did you get cheetos?" JoJo murmured as Ben crept into their room.

" And doritos." Ben nodded.

" And chocolate?"

" Regular and caramel." Ben placed the bags on the ground, climbing into bed.

" Was Josh mad?" She asked.

" Oh, yeah." Ben laughed.

" Well, it's a good thing he'll never know that I'm the one who asked for the chips." JoJo laughed lightly.
