Chapter 5

Haylee and Noah stayed on the phone until it was about 9 and the went into a rest area. Haylee had to go to the bathroom so bad that she ran, yelling to Noah to let him know where she was going "HOLD ON I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM OR I'M GONNA PEE MY PANTS" Haylee heard Noah chuckle in the distance. When Haylee made Noah laugh it made her smile she loved his laugh. When she got to the bathroom she felt stress on her lungs "Oh no" Haylee was going to have another coughing fit. She ran out and behind the bathroom so no one would see. As suspected there were the pedals and the blood. "This isn't happening" Haylee said to herself as her eyes filled up with tears. She quickly used the inside of her shirt to wipe around her mouth and her hands to wipe her eyes and slowly walked back to where Noah was. "Hey loser", Noah said without turning around. "I am not a loser" Haylee laughed. "Where is your key?" Noah asked turning around. "Right here" Haylee pulled her key out of her sweat pants. There was a field of flowers in the distance Haylee looked at her key and threw it as far as possible. "Psh weak", Noah laughed. "like you could do better" Haylee said rolling her eyes. Noah bent over and picked up a rock and threw it, it went far way farther then Haylee's key
"Whatever" Haylee jokingly said. "Hey question" Noah looked at Haylee "Answer" Haylee said thinking it was a smart response. "Have you ever had a sleepover?" Noah asked "No actually my parents never let me" Haylee answered "Well we have to do one tonight!", Noah informed "What? How?", Haylee responded actually confused. "Just get your blankets and come to my car", Noah said out of excitement. Haylee was still confused; she walked to her car and grabbed her fuzzy blanket that she got from her grandma before she passed. When Haylee walked over to Noah's car, she saw him waiting, looking down at his phone. "So, what's the plan?" Haylee still curious on what his plan was. Noah looked up and opened the back doors. Haylee climbed in and saw that he had laid down the back seats and had placed a blanket down. "Basically just fall asleep.", Noah informed. Haylee was tired from the driving, she was relived that she was able to have a break. Haylee climbed into the car and laid down in the back. Noah shut the door for her and got in on the other side. Both Haylee and Noah fell backwards to lay down to go to sleep.

It has been about a hour of Haylee laying down without falling asleep, she was cold, She flipped on her side to look at Noah sleeping. He was so peaceful, to see his soft face lay so gently against the pillow, it made Haylee feel warm inside. Haylee shivered just a little. Which made Noah adjust and put his arm over her cold body and pulled her into him. "Do I move or just go with it?" Haylee thought. When he hugged her it made her feel warm, she wasn't cold anymore. Haylee drifted off to sleep she was happy.
