Chapter 2

TW Gore

Haylee woke up in a startle. She was coughing, and it was bad she felt phlegm in her mouth she grabbed the box of tissues next to her bed and covered her mouth, she coughed for a good 5 minutes before she calmed down. Haylee turned on her lamp and looked at the tissue, what was on the tissue wasn't phlegm, it wasn't phlegm at all! It was blood and what looked like pedals of a flower? Haylee realized that she could taste the blood in her mouth she ran to the bathroom to quickly wash out her mouth. "Is this a dream?" Haylee thought as she looked up in the mirror to see her own reflection. She would all figure this out in the morning she climbed back in bed hoping that this was all a nightmare.

TW over

Haylee woke up the next morning to the sound of birds singing. She had completely forgotten her nightmare that she had last night. ! DING! Haylee got a text from her friend Abby "I have some news!!!! CALL ME!!!" Haylee immediately called "Abby?! What's up are you okay?" Haylee said worried. "I'm fine, I have good news!" Abby said hurting Haylee's ear drums "What!?" Haylee said with some slight excitement. "remember when we were in Highschool and Me, you and Noah all decided that we would have a house together and pay rent between the three of us?" "Yeah?", Haylee said slowly. "Me and Noah found a house in Florida and we want you to come live with us!" Abby screamed from excitement "No way!!! Abby are you joking?!" Haylee said as she was racing downstairs to find some extra cardboard boxes. "No!, Oh by the way there should be a present at your door any minute", Abby said lowering her voice. "A present?" Haylee questioned. "Yup! Hey, I have to go pack and get our new house ready!" Abby pronounced, and then quickly hung up. Abby and Noah both lived at Florida at the time, Haylee had to move to Montana to go to college. She did miss both of her friends very much, she talked to Noah and Abby daily, but Haylee missed seeing them in person. Haylee couldn't handle this excitement she would be living with Noah! She finally was able to see him. As Haylee was drifting away in her own thoughts, she heard the door bell ring. "My present!" Haylee thought. She quickly opened the door to find the one and only, Noah on HER doorstep. "Haylee!!!" Noah said in his very attractive voice. With tears in Haylee's eyes she ran and gave Noah the biggest hug. "W-what are you doing here Noah!?" Haylee exclaimed "Well I have everything packed so I figured to come and help you out." Noah said while he rubbed circles on Haylee's back trying to comfort her.

TW Gore, panic attack

Haylee could feel a cough coming, which she suddenly remembered last night. "Noah I will be right back, make yourself at home food is in the pantry" Haylee said as she tried to hold back what felt like acid. Haylee ran to her bathroom and bent over the sink and coughed. She couldn't stop, her lungs felt like they were on fire. She suddenly looked down at the sink to see blood, Haylee couldn't believe it! She saw pedals in the sink. Haylee couldn't breathe, walls were closing in around her. Eventually she fell to the ground and cried for a while. She remembered from one of her yoga classes the 478 rule, breathe in for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. After a few times of doing this exercise she calmed down enough to clean the blood and herself up.

TW Over

After she cleaned herself up she went back down stairs to Noah. "Geez, what took you so long Pickle?" Noah said with a chuckle, Pickle was a nickname he had given Haylee, because she is always getting herself in situations that she couldn't get out of. "Whatever", Haylee giggled as she walked down the hallway. "Haylee you have to give me a tour!" Noah said with his a sparkle in his eye. "Of course!" Haylee said acting like nothing ever happened a few minutes ago. Haylee showed him around the 1 bed 1 bath apartment. Haylee didn't want to show him her bedroom since it has been messy, and she hasn't had a chance to clean it. "Haylee you missed a room", Noah said with a smirk on his face "Oh that's just my bedroom it's not a big deal" Haylee quietly said. Noah doesn't listen very well so of course he barges into the messy room. "Haylee sheesh", Noah Joked as he looked around the filthy room "I know it's messy I wasn't expecting you so I haven't had time-"Haylee said before she was cut off. "Haylee who do you think I am? Do you think my room was any better?" Noah said in shock. Haylee was surprised to hear that come out of his mouth.

He walked over to Haylee and gave her one of his great hugs. It was nice to be in his arms again; he almost always had his grey sweatshirt on that was always so soft. It was nice to look into his blue-grey eyes and to see his brown hair that always reminded Haylee of chocolate. Noah let go and sat at her computer desk. "Ooh is this your computer?", Noah questioned as he reached for the on button. Haylee remembered the survey she took late last night. "Noah don't!", Haylee yelled which made Noah jump a little. It was too late the computer monitor was slowly showing the last tab she went to. "ooh Haylee has a secret!!", Noah laughed. Noah looked at the screen "Are you in love with your best friend?" Noah read aloud. "I-it was for u-uh project that my friends in Montana made me do", Haylee stuttered trying to say it as convincing as possible. "Haylee", Noah paused for a moment "You don't have friends in Montana" He laughed. His laugh was contagious Haylee started laughing with him. "We have to do something about this room" Noah said trying to calm down from his laughter. "Yeah we probably should"
