Chapter 6

Another short one I'm thinking of combining the Chapters

              The next morning, she woke up with her face dug into Noah's chest. Noah was awake and scrolling through his phone. "I didn't want to wake you", Noah said nervously "Thanks", Haylee smiled while she stretched and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. "You want to go get some breakfast?", Noah asked. "I'm not very hungry, but sure", Haylee said opening the car door. Haylee and Noah decided to go to McDonald's, and eat it on the drive. They would find another stop and sleep today. Haylee was leading the way and occasionally Noah would show up on the side of her to make a stupid face which would make them laugh. One of the times Noah made a stupid face, it made Haylee laugh so hard that she started to have another coughing fit. It was stressful she looked over to a opening where she could pullover and get out of the car. Haylee pulled over to the side of the interstate and got out of her car and ran to the passenger side of the door so no one would see. And just like always there was blood and the flower pedals this was one of the worst ones. "Haylee?!", Noah yelled as he ran to her "No Noah stop I don't want you to see", Haylee could barley get her words out. Noah saw what was happening and started to become worried "Haylee, what is this? Is that, blood?", Noah said concerned. "I'm sorry, Noah I didn't want you to find out like this", Haylee said with a tear falling down her cheek. Noah kneeled behind Haylee to turn her around to hug her. "Don't apologize just talk, what has happened.", Noah said trying to keep his own emotions out of the situation. "It's a disease caused by a flower, basically flowers are growing from the inside out and destroying my body", Haylee broke down in Noah's arms. "I will get someone to tow your car and you can ride with me", Noah insisted. "I'm fine Noah, I can drive", Haylee cried. "Haylee please, let me help you, I-I care about you", Noah said as he felt a tear roll down his cheek. "I don't have money to pay for the-" Haylee was cut off "Don't worry about it I've got it" Noah said.

Noah helped Haylee walk back to his car and he sat and called a company to help with Haylee's car. Haylee was grateful, but was embarrassed that Noah found out this way. Haylee remembered a few moments ago, "He said he cared about me, but he hesitated was he going to say something else?", Haylee's last thoughts as she placed her head on the window and fell asleep.
