Chapter 19

                Haylee told Abby about what happened before she got into the hospital. The ride was only 5 minutes away from the house. "I think you should go get him, make your move.", Abby said as she pulled into the driveway. "You think so?", Haylee responded as Abby put the car in park. "Yeah, I think so.", Abby said as she turned off the car. Haylee and Abby opened their car doors, Abby went to the trunk to grab Haylee's bag. Haylee put the key in the door knob and opened the door. Haylee did a huge sigh, home at last, Haylee thought as she stepped into the house. Abby entered after her and handed Haylee her bag. "I think I'm going to go lay in my bed for a while.", Haylee said as she headed for the stairs. "Okay if you need to talk about boys, just shoot me a text and I will bust down your door.", Abby said as she went into the kitchen. Haylee headed up to her room, her sheets were a mess. Abby said that she had made her bed. Haylee brushed it off she didn't care if her bed was made or not, she just wanted to go to sleep. She climbed into her bed it smelled different it smelled like, Noah? Has Noah been sleeping in my bed? Haylee thought as she pulled the covers over her abdomen. If he did she didn't mind it was abnormal for Noah to sleep in her bed. Haylee closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. She felt herself turn against her warm pillow to cold sand. Frightened she woke up and clutched the ground. Sand ran in between her hands, she was back in that dream she had a few days ago, the moon was big and beautiful reflecting on the lagoon. She hears noise behind her, she quickly turns around. Haylee remembers that she had been here before, and stood in front of her was herself, pale sick self. Last time she had this dream she ran into a forest and she was killed, this time her best bet was going into the lagoon. Haylee ran towards the lagoon. Haylee couldn't yell or talk, it was if her lips were sealed shut. The sick Haylee starts to chase her. Haylee steps her foot into the lagoon it was cold and sent a shock through her body. Haylee starts to go deeper and deeper into the ocean trying to out run herself, eventually she couldn't feel the bottom anymore. Haylee looked over her shoulder to see that the sick Haylee was getting closer, she was so much more faster then her. Haylee feels a hand on her shoulder, she quickly turns around. She was caught up, Haylee tried fighting kicking and punching, but it didn't even phase the sick one. The sick Haylee slowly pushes Haylee's head under the water. Haylee felt burning in her lungs, she was drowning. It reminded her of when she was sick the burn was the same.

Haylee jumps to a sitting position with sweat on her face, she was back in her bed. It was only a dream. That was the second time she had that dream, but she had complete control of her actions. Haylee grabs the remote to her tv on her night stand to turn on the news as she got ready. "Today is the first day of Florida's major heat wave.", The news reporter stated. Haylee picked up her phone to see that Noah snapchatted her. Haylee opened the app it was only 5 minutes ago that he had messaged her.

Are you ready for the heatwave? It says its going to be at least 105 degrees.

Haylee remembered the last time they talked what he said. Haylee hated that he would mess with her head like that. Haylee starts to type.

Thank goodness for Air condition right? Haha

Haylee saw Noah's bitmoji pop up as she sent the message. What was that, don't be awkward! Haylee thought as she watched Noah's bitmoji start to type.

Yeah, about that... My friends Air conditioning broke yesterday, so I'm going to be dying of heat.

Haylee sent the message and threw her phone on her bed. Why did I say that? Are you crazy!? Haylee thought as she heard the notification that Noah had messaged back. Haylee decided not to look at it, it was to nerve-wracking. "Hey Haylee? Can I come in?", Abby said on the other side of the door. "Yeah of course.", Haylee said as she put her feet on the soft carpet. "How did you sleep last night?", Abby asked as she opened the door. "Good!", Haylee lied. Another notification popped up on Haylee's phone from Noah. "Hey you got 2 notifications from Noah are you not going to answer him?", Abby said as Haylee stood up from her bed and walked to her closet. "I will respond in a second.", Haylee replied as she look for a shirt to wear that day. "Haylee you never ignore Noah's messages, what's wrong? Are you mad at him?", Abby quickly said in a worried voice. "No we're fine don't worry about it.", Haylee snapped. "Ok, I don't believe you but okay.", Abby said as she headed out the door. Abby shut the door. Haylee grabbed the remote and turned off her TV. Haylee picked up her phone and stared at the notification for a while. Should I open it? Haylee thought as she opened her phone. Haylee's thumbs slowly moved over to their conversation.

You're cruel.

I had a dream about you last night.

Haylee's heart dropped.

About what?

Haylee got dressed waiting for his reply. Haylee's phone lit up.

Noah is typing....

Haylee opened her phone to see Noah's bitmoji have a thought bubble above his head, and then disappear. Haylee's phone started to ring. It was Noah, Haylee answered. "Hello?", Haylee said quietly. "Hey, I just thought it would be easier to call instead of text.", Noah replied. "So, a dream- about me?", Haylee said curious. "Oh right, so we were at a park, it was night and it was just us." "Just us?" "yeah, we were watching the stars or something. I looked at you, you had this mask on." "What did it look like?", Haylee said as she laid back on her bed. "It was one of those masks that people would wear at party's just to cover their eyes.", Noah responded. "I try to take your mask off, but it won't budge. You look at me and say 'take it off' I try again and it comes off perfectly. I could see you're beautiful face." "Noah", Haylee warns. "Let me finish. You smile at me and then- you- uh-kiss me.", Noah sounded nervous. What do I do? Haylee thought as she heard the words form out of his mouth. Haylee started laughing, it was the only way she could think of getting out of the situation. "You're never going to let me down huh?", Noah chuckled. "Never.", Haylee replied. It made Haylee's heart do a flip in her chest. He was thinking about me? "That is quite the dream.", Haylee said still with some laughter in her voice. "So, about you liking that I'm sweaty.", Noah replied. Haylee didn't want to talk about it. "It was a joke dummy.", Haylee lied. "sure it was.", Noah's voice got quieter. "Why did I just get a text from Abby asking if we are fighting?", Noah asked. "Oh jeez, she came in my room and noticed that I didn't respond to you right away so she thinks that we are fighting.", Haylee said as she rolled her eyes. "Oh well, I was thinking you were mad at me too for a second.", Noah said quietly. "Why?", Haylee was nervous what did she do wrong this time? "Just last time we talked you hung up on me because I said that you turned me on.", Noah answered the question. "Noah!", Haylee yelled. "What? What?", Noah responded. "You can't say that!", Haylee blurted out. "Why? Does it turn you on?", Noah asked. "Noah seriously knock it off, drop it.", Haylee warned. "Whatever.", Noah replied. It was silent for a second. "I found a few songs that you might like.", Noah said to break the silence. "Really? Send them to me I will have to listen to them." "Ok for sure, I have to go Abby is calling me for what ever reason.", Noah said right before the phone hung up. He was thinking about me. Haylee said as she thought about the dream he had. Haylee Walked downstairs to get some breakfast. As she walks down the stairs Haylee hears Abby scream "You can't say that Noah, you don't understand!" Haylee knew she was taking to Noah. Haylee hears again "And you kissed her without her permission!" Haylee's stomach drops, Noah never kissed her and Abby wouldn't be getting so upset over a dream, she wasn't talking about her. Did he kiss someone else? Haylee thought as she walked into the kitchen. Haylee pulls out her phone to text Noah.

You should tell Abby to be quieter I can hear her screaming at you lol.

Haylee puts her phone on the counter as she grabs a bowl and cereal out of the pantry. !Ding! It was Noah. Haylee picked up her phone to look at the message.

Haylee responded

Something along the lines of you not able to say something to someone, and that you kissed someone without permission.

Haylee put her phone down again and grabbed the milk out of the fridge. Haylee pored the cereal into the bowl and then poured the milk. !Ding!

Haylee was curious she didn't know if she would be regretting that question or not.

That sentence made Haylee worried. What if therewas another girl with him right now and that's who they were talking about.Haylee grabbed her phone and bowl and walked to Abby's room. Haylee knocked onthe door. "Abby?", Haylee asked "Not now Haylee.", Abby barked. Haylee wantedto ask Abby about the situation. "I have to go, we are not finished talking!",Abby said as she opened the door. "What did he say?", Haylee asked. "He justtold me about what you guys were texting about.", Abby responded. "Who did hekiss?", Haylee asked. "I- Haylee I can't tell you.", Abby stuttered. "Why not?",Haylee demanded. "Because it was you Haylee he kissed You."
