Chapter 7

Haylee opened her eyes as she felt Noah turn, Haylee saw a hotel sign "Noah, don't I can sleep in the car again" Noah looked over at Haylee "I want you to be comfortable, and plus I need a shower". Haylee let out a little giggle. "Yeah you stink", Haylee said half asleep. Noah let out a smile and parked in the hotel parking lot. "I will be right back", Noah said gently while putting his hand on Haylee's knee. Noah gets out of the car to go get checked into a room for the night. It started to rain, Haylee heard the pitter patter on her window as she sat in silence. The silence was nice, she had time to think. "What am I going to do? I don't have millions of dollars to get better", Haylee thought. Haylee wasn't scared of dying, but she didn't want to die especially with barley moving into a house with her best friends. Noah opened Haylee's door, "room 130", Noah said with a exhausting sigh. Haylee tried to stand up, but her legs were wobbly and shaky. "No, no, no let me hold you", Noah said trying to be as helpful as possible. "It's okay I can do it", Haylee exclaimed trying to stand again. "Haylee you are sick, don't push yourself for things you can't do, I am here for you please let me help you", Noah demanded. Noah was right she didn't have any energy and she was very sick. "Fine", Haylee said in a relief. Noah gently picked Haylee up with care and walked into the Hotel. Haylee had comfort, Noah always made her feel better. Who knows where she would be without him.

Noah gets onto the elevator and goes up to floor 3 and opens their room. Noah very gently puts her on the bed. "Noah I'm really okay you don't have to treat me like this", Haylee said as she laid down. "Haylee it's my job to take care of you, I'm your best friend.", Noah said as he sat by her feet. "Don't you need to take a shower stinky?", Haylee said trying to brighten the mood. Noah scuffed and gave her a smile for Haylee's effort. Noah stood up from her bed to go get blankets that they had moved from Haylee's car. When Noah stood up Haylee realized there was only one bed. "did he do this on purpose?", Haylee thought to her self as she watched Noah leave. Haylee had energy now it had been 7 hours since her episode. Haylee placed both feet on the ground feeling the fluffy carpet below her, she slowly walked around to check out her surroundings. She looked out the window to see Noah and his car he was moving very slow Haylee could tell he was tired. "I will go help him", Haylee insisted to herself. She quickly throws on her flats and makes her way to Noah. As Haylee walks over to Noah's car Noah quickly turns startled "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you", Haylee quietly said knowing he was still worried about her. Noah's eyes were puffed and red it was obvious he was crying. "I came to help you", Haylee smiled as opening the door do grab some pillows. "It's okay Haylee I got it", Noah sniffled. Haylee realized he wasn't dealing with the news very well. "Noah", Haylee said putting down the blankets "I will be okay and I will pull through" "What comes next?", Noah said as he grabbed Haylee's shoulders to pull her into a hug. "If I'm being honest? I'm not sure", Haylee exclaimed. She had never seen Noah cry, she wanted to take it away she hated seeing him like this. Noah pushed away from the hug after a few seconds "Let's bring the stuff up.", Noah said as if he hasn't been crying. Haylee nodded and grabbed as many things as she could.
