Chapter 20

-Chapter 20-

Haylee's eyes got wide, and she dropped her cereal and her phone. "He, what?" Abby sighed, she could tell that she was still filled with anger. "When you were in the hospital, and you were sleeping, he- he kissed you." Haylee had to sit down. She felt her back slide down the wall. Haylee felt Joy, but anger at the exact same time. "He likes me?", Haylee said out loud. "Haylee, he loves you." Those words made Haylee eyes start to tear up. "He loves me?", Haylee asked as she looked at Abby. "When you were in the hospital he didn't eat anything, until you woke up, at night I would wake up to him just sitting on the couch, he was just sitting.", Abby replied. Haylee was in shock, she felt anger she narrowed down to two reasons why. One He never told her. Two because their first kiss, was when she was unconscious. She always dreamed of what it would feel like if they ever kissed the first time. "Haylee, are you okay?", Abby said. Haylee turned to see a pool of tears in her eyes. "I'm angry Abby, he just wanted the experience to himself. He didn't care about how I felt, I wasn't able to feel the spark." "I know, I know come here.", Abby said as she pulled Haylee into a comforted hug. !Ding! Haylee looked at her phone, it was Noah. Haylee pulled away from the hug and picked up her phone.

Haylee could barely see with all of the tears in her eyes.

'I need to tell you something.'

Haylee looks at Abby, "I'm going to call him, but please stay with me, and don't let him know you are here." Haylee pushed on Noah's contact to call him. Haylee put her phone on speaker.

'Hey', Noah sounded Nervous.

'Hey', Haylee still was stuffy from crying

'Are you okay? You sound like you have been crying', Noah asked

'No I'm fine!', Haylee said trying to sound as normal as possible.

'u-uh okay, so um I have to say something, and I don't know how you're going to react, but uh' Haylee heard Noah take a sigh 'Alright I'm just gonna say it fast and please don't make me repeat it.'

'Okay I'm listening'

'So when you were in the hospital, I thought you were going to die, and Haylee I'm going to be honest with you, I- I love you, you mean the world to me, and when I thought you were going to die, I couldn't bare not at least kissing you once, so I kissed you.'

'WHAT THE HELL!', Haylee tried to act surprised when really it just made her blood boil all over again.

'I'm sorry, I just I wanted it once.'

'Noah, you don't understand how much I care for you, and how much I've wanted to kiss you. And then for you to kiss me when I was unconscious and I couldn't feel anything, I never felt the connection.'

Noah went silent

'Haylee- I'm sorry I didn't know.'

'Maybe you shouldn't do things that you aren't sure about.'

!BEEP!

Noah hung up

"Did I do the right thing? Please tell me I did the right thing Abby.", Haylee said as she kept staring at her phone "I-I mean you were a little, well bitchy, but you had a good point.", Abby said putting her hand on Haylee's shoulder. "Do you think I should apologize?", Haylee asked as she made her teary eyes look up at Abby. "No, I think he should apologize.", Abby responded pulling Haylee into a hug.

Haylee and Abby sat together for a good hour before Haylee got up and went to her room. Haylee fell on her bed, she was angry at Noah, but she also felt a little bit of relief that he said that he loved her. With tears in Haylee's eyes she felt her eyes become heavy, she could feel the heat, it was hot. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Haylee felt a breeze against her body, she opens her eyes to find her at the lagoon. She knew who was behind her, she was to tired to run so she decided to let the thing get her. "Haylee?", Haylee quickly turns around to see Noah. "N-noah? What are you doing here?", Haylee asked with her eyes as big as ever. "I could asked you the same question.", Noah said slowly approaching Haylee. "In my head I guess.", Haylee said as she broke eye contact and looked at the ground. Haylee looked back up to see Noah inches away from her body "N-noah, I'm still angry at you, y-you kissed me without permission." "I'm sorry, maybe this will make it better.", Noah said as he touched the side of Haylee's face. "No, noa-.", Haylee couldn't finish her sentence without melting into his hand. Haylee forgot that she was in a nightmare, she felt safe, warm, comfort. Haylee looked into Noah's eyes and looked at his lips and back at his eyes again, his beautiful eyes. "Can I kiss you?", Noah asked. Haylee couldn't resist him, she nodded, and then, Haylee felt it, his warm lips against hers. Haylee closed her eyes and felt both of them fall to their knees on the beach. Haylee pulled away, "Noah I forgive you." Haylee saw Noah take a breath to say something. Haylee woke up with sweat on her face.

Haylee looked at her phone to see that she had about 30 missed calls from Noah and 500 messages. Haylee picked up her phone and called Noah.

'Haylee I'm so sorry I, can't lose you please don't leave m-.', Noah said as he was interrupted

'Noah, I'm not leaving you, what you did was wrong, but we are best friends, and I will never leave you.', Haylee said as she felt a smile across her face.

'I probably shouldn't have said I love you, I'm sorry.', Noah said, Haylee could tell that he had been crying.

'Well I have somethings to tell you when you get back so, hold on to that I love you', Haylee said trying to cheer him up.

'Really? Can't wait.', Haylee could tell that she had cheered him up a little.

'bye, don't you dare go a day without texting me.', Haylee said as she chuckled a little.

'I promise, bye I lo-, I mean bye'

They hung up the phone, Haylee walked downstairsto get water to try and escape the heat. 

OOOOOO have no idea what i'm going to do next but that's fine.
