Chapter 18

                 It's been a few days since Noah had left to go visit his grandparents. Haylee was being sent home today, Abby was going to pick her up in about 10 minutes. Noah said that he was going to be there to take her home, but she hasn't heard of him since he snook into the hospital. Haylee's pone lights up, she quickly turns to see who it is. It was Abby.

Haylee put her phone down. I miss him. Haylee thought as she grabbed her hospital bag and put it by the door. Even though it had only been 2 days she really missed Noah. His voice, his eyes, his hair, his scent. No that's weird don't think that. Haylee scolded herself. Haylee's phone started to ring she slowly walked over to expect Abby be calling her that she was here. Haylee looked at her phone, it was Noah, he was facetiming. Haylee stumbled as she picked up the phone. "Hey! I missed you!", Haylee said with the biggest smile on her face. "I missed you too! I'm happy that I get to see that cute face again.", Noah said as he opened the door to his car. "Shut up.", Haylee said as she felt her face become hot. "I'm serious.", Noah said looking at the camera. "Whatever.", Haylee said flustered. "What do you want to hear? That you're smart." "Oh my gosh" "And impressive," he fumes "and attractive" "Noah" "What?", He exasperates. "Come on you know I'm an honest person. You know it's true, don't give me that." Haylee was shocked she was quiet for a good seconds, "I'm going hang up", Haylee said as she shook her head. "You need to be kissed Haylee", Noah murmurs. "So hard that you can't remember your name--- maybe then you will understand what I mean." Haylee's phone slipped out of her hands. "Noah what the Hell!?", Haylee said as she picked up her phone. "What did i-" , Noah said being interrupted. "Screw you, like actually screw you!" "Haylee calm down, calm down!", Noah laughed. "Why would you talk to me like that? You're insane, I hate you!", Haylee said red in the face. Abby walked in in the middle of Haylee's sentence, and sat on the chair in the corner. "No you don't", Noah wheezed. "Yeah- you're right.", Haylee said without noticing Abby being in the room. "Good to know there is a trigger there if I ever need it", Noah said with a smirk. "If you ever do that again, I will never talk to you again!", Haylee barked. "Mk whatever.", Noah said still with a smile on his face. Haylee's heart go the better of her, "I don't think you understand, me hearing your voice burns." "I burn you?", Noah asked. "You melt me.", Haylee said with instant regret. "I- what?", Noah said going from a smile to a serious face. Why did I say that? Haylee thought. Speechless Haylee turns around to see Abby sitting on the chair. "I have to go bye.", Haylee said in a panic. "Wait, I have to t-" , Noah said as Haylee hung up.

"So", Abby said with a slight smile on her face. "What?", Haylee said pretending like the conversation didn't just happen. "What do you mean what? 'You melt me'", Abby mocked Haylee. "I got confident, Abby he said and I quote 'you need to be kissed Haylee, so hard that you forget your own name'", Haylee said. "He what!? Did he make you uncomfortable, I will kill him.", Abby said in shock. "No, he was only joking.", Haylee said as she grabbed her hospital bag to leave. "Are you sure?", Abby said. "I don't know! That's why I got bold.", Haylee said as she walked out of her hospital room. Haylee's phone dings, Haylee takes it out of her back pocket of her jeans. Its from Noah.

Noah: I need to talk to you

Haylee could feel her chest getting tight, "Abby, he just texted saying we need to talk." Abby quickly turns to Haylee. "Call him.", Abby responds. "But what if it's about the 'melt' thing?", Haylee asked looking back at Abby. "Then solve it.", Abby said as they walked out of the hospital. Haylee slowly moves her thumbs to the call button, she pushes it and raises the phone to her ear. "Hey, what's up?", Haylee said as she crossed the street to get to Abby's car. "The whole reason I FaceTime you is tell you that I'm probably going to be gone for a week, but I will have service.", Noah responded. "Oh? What are you doing?", Haylee asked "Going to see some friends, I will still be in Florida so sadly I wont be missing out on the heatwave.", Noah said with a sigh. "Good you deserve it.", Haylee smiled. "Uh-uh are you still mad about that? For the record you flirted back with me.", Noah chuckled. "I did not!", Haylee laughed. "yeah sure, 'you melt me' I don't know that kinda turned me on.", Noah mumbled. Beep. Haylee hung up. Haylee jerked to Abby. "Abby, he j-just said I turned him on." "He, What!?", Abby said as her eyes got giant.
