Korra POV

So Asami still has not been in school but she has been doing a lot better now she leaves the house once in while and that's good. well it was lunch time so the whole gang was there and I had a surprise to tell them.

Korra: Hey guys

UNISON: Hey kor

Opal: so how's Asami doing 

Korra: Oh she doing so much better now she might come to school next week but enough talk about that lets talk about this

(Pulls out black box with promise ring)

Sparky&kai: Woah is that an engagement ring you guys aren't even dating.

Opal: Are you guys for real that dumb that's a promise ring anyway continue Korra

Korra: Thank you Opal well I'm going to ask Asami to be my girlfriend and the promise ring is to promise her that Ill always be by her side no matter what and I will love her with all my heart and that I promise that even if she lost all her family that we are her family. And you guys are going to be there when I do it so here's the plan.

We started talking about the plan and what we each are going to do. Mako was really supportive of his two ex girlfriend dating. After that we just talked the whole lunch period.

Opal: Bolin what cant you be as romantic as Korra and get me a promise ring.

Bolin: well thanks Korra

Sparky: Haha your in the dog house 

Skip time

I told my parents everything that was about to go down tonight and they agreed to help me. I told them to take Asami far away from the house. They said that they were going to take her to the store so she thinks we are having a movie night.

After they left everyone came by to the house to help me set up. Sparky and kai put rose pedals and a candles to make a trail to my back yard and then shape a heart with pedals and candles. Bolin helped me get the perfect flowers and a nice teddy bear. Everyone brought some nice fancy clothes. Opal brought this nice long green dress that matches her eyes with tan high heels. Bolin brought a nice button up shirt with black pants and dress shoes. Jinora and kai had matching colors but he was wear a suit and she was wearing a dress. Mako was wearing a nice black and red suit and sparky wasn't all about that fancy clothes life but she brought a nice 

light blue button up shirt with pants and white converse. And me I wore colors that match Asami's favorite colors so yea we were all dress to impress sadly Mako and sparky were third wheeling here. I texted my parents and we waited inside playing video games.

We saw the car lights and we all headed out to our positions. I gave everyone one rose and we were ready.

Asami POV

I went to the store with Korra's parents because all of our friends were coming over to watch a movie. Korra didn't want to come because she said she wasn't feeling well but will still watch the movie with us.

We finally arrived at the house and there was a sign at the front door "Asami go to the back" I opened the gate and gasped I saw rose petal and a trail of candles and Saw sparky dressed adorable holding a rose 

Sparky: This is for you miss. Sato 

Asami: Thank you sparky 

I keep walking and notice Kai and Jinora holding a rose

Asami: thanks guys, you guys are so cute

Then I saw Mako

Mako: here you go sami

Asmai: thank you

Then I see Bolin and opal 

Opal: we love you sami here you go 

I already had tears in my eyes but I kept walking with everyone behind me once I saw Korra I couldn't hold it anymore. I ran to her crying and embracing her into a hug. Korra then broke the hug and kneeled down 

Korra: Asami Sato I promise to be by your side no matter what through the good and bad I promise you I will love you with all my heart and I want you to be in my life and hopefully i can be in your life and I know you lost your family but you got all of us 

I turn around and see everyone there Bolin crying with opal and I could tell sparky and kai were not trying to cry and being tough 

Korra: So Asami will you be my girlfriend 

Asami: YESSS KORRA OF COURSE I also love you so much and I want you to be part of my life.

I hugged Korra and everyone came and we all did a group hug I broke the hug and gave Korra a passionate kiss.
