The Dream

Taehyun and Yuna just got back from Yeonjun's house. He told the Prince everything he needed to know. Of course excluding his conversation with Chaeryeong.

Kai noticed that Taehyun seemes bothered. He would tell him his fine whenever Kai asks him. Even Yuna noticed it too ever since they left the house.

Kai called the two around after lunch and told them about the plan. Of course Taehyun will be busy again to prepare their travels. He didn't have the energy to ask him why.

Taehyun felt so bothered after his conversation with Chaeryeong. He felt bad for her that she lost her entire family because of the people he was serving at.

He could clearly imagine how much hatred she have for the royal family.

The next day. The four of them woke up early preparing to leave by dawn. Kai wore the same clothes he had when he first arrive at the palace. It was his uniform. He was able to retrieve it before the maids can even throw it.

He wore it and put on the cape Taehyun had left on the bedside table for him. The cape doesn't look expensive for the Prince to use.

Taehyun said it is better as they were going to be in disguise for quite a while. So they have to lay low starting from what they wear. He had asked the Prince to not bring his toys of course, being a stubborn kid he is. Kai brought Tobin sneaking it to the horse.

"Your majesty! We're ready!" Soobin knocked on the door as Kai sprinted towards it to open it.

Soobin scanned him and looked at the uniform he was wearing.

From his white long sleeves to his vest. His nametag. His pants. His coat with a logo of Hanlim University. His necktie. And his black shoes. He also noticed that he wasn't wearing his crown.

If anyone would look at him. They will mistook him from a boy who came from the future and got lost in time.

"Quit staring hyung? I didn't dolled up myself to impress you!" Kai laughed and handed his coat to Soobin. He slipped his hands on his pocket before proceeding to the hallway while humming.

Soobin followed him, completely bewildered  of his style. Pretty sure Taehyun won't let him go out in this look.

As soon as the two got to palace South Gates. Kai was surprised of how Yuna was totally dolled up.

She have her haired tied up. She was wearing a black fitted clothes with a brown leather girdle. She was also wearing the same boots as Taehyun and Soobin.

Kai clapped his hands. Totally happy that it was just the four of them. He was thankful that his father trusted him.

"Your majesty! What are you wearing?" Taehyun was raising his eyebrow scanning Kai from head to toe.

"Aw! Did I looked too pretty?" Kai giggled and rode his horse. Soobin handed him his coat and he wore it.

"And what is that!?" Taehyun pointed at the doll snucked under the horse saddle.

Kai faked gasped and pulled Tobin. He showed it to Taehyun giggling. "Tobin must've heard we're leaving! He wanted to come!" Kai said making Taehyun rolled his eyes.

"I can't believe this!" He scoffed and decided to rode off first.

The three followed him and they travelled smoothly leaving the palace.

As soon as they left the kingdom. Kai couldn't refrain himself from singing until his throat felt dry. He wasn't fully healed with his injury though so they were forced to stop in a nearby inn for Kai to take a rest.
