Alan had to take a second to compose himself, "'Wolfboy?'"
"It would make sense as a nickname, since you are part-wolf."
The human took the chance to look the stranger over, realizing he never saw him in the club before now. He was a sheep, not much taller than him without the large, curved horns. His fur was white where it was showing, curled in a few places. He was wearing the usual uniform with a shoulder bag under his arm. All the while, he had a playful look on his face.
"Staring isn't very polite, you know?"
"Right, sorry! I just don't think I've seen you in the club before."
"I guess I can give you a pass since you're the first human I've seen. I actually just joined, so I was going to the male dressing room when you came sulking.", he said in that same playful tone.
Alan was about to question the sheep's wording before stopping himself and giving a small smile, "I can show you where it is, if you want. I usually come early before the others since— you know, no fur."
"I may take you up on that, Wolfboy."
The two made their way to the locker room in silence. It wasn't awkward, just comfortable. The human couldn't help wondering about the sheep's sudden appearance in the club. It felt like he just popped out of nowhere, similar to when he met Juno. At least with the wolf, he was gone back then, so he had no idea about her beforehand. When they were close to the room, they could hear two distinctly loud voices.
Alan sighed, "It looks like the two powerhouses are at it again. I wonder if I should get some yarn or a tennis ball..."
The sheep chuckled, "I'm guessing this is a regular thing, then."
"As regular as it can be..."
He went to the doorway and leaned against it before saying out loud, "Hey, lovebeasts, how's the marriage?"
The room went silent as everyone turned to look at him.
The sheep appeared beside him with his eyebrows raised, "Wow, that got them quiet fast! I bet they don't even remember what their argument was about."
He stepped inside without any break in his demeanor, calling Legosi "doggie" as he went to a locker. Alan felt a small pang in his heart, remembering someone telling him it was Tem's. He used a spare one on the far side of the room, so Tem's was unused until now. The sheep asked Legosi about his stitches before leaving them all in stunned silence, that upbeat demeanor present the whole time.
This cannot end well..., Alan thought as he could feel a certain tension growing in the room.
"Who was that pretty boy?! Is he a new member?!", Bill asked in shock.
"He didn't introduce himself.", Aoba noted. "Plus he called Legosi 'Doggie'."
"That doesn't matter, he is a canine. He's got a shitty attitude! Let's teach him a lesson, tonight!"
"Let's not."
"You're a real piece of work, Bill...", Alan muttered. "You don't even know his name and yet you already want to fight him."
"Well do you know anything about him?", the tiger asked.
"I'm as clueless as you are.", he shrugged. "I only bumped into him and helped him to the locker room. He's something, though, that's for sure."
He got off the door and was about to leave before stopping, "If you all could: Don't rock the boat too much? I can already tell things will be weird with him, but at least try to take it well."
