"Em, could I borrow you for a chat. It'll only be five minutes," my dad calls as the students around me pack their bags. The end of the lesson bringing with it the start of the weekend.

"I'll wait outside?" Fred questions. The distance between us is gone today, with no explanation of what it was in the first place.

"I can just meet you back at the common room. We will probably be a while," I assure. Lee, Angelina, Katie and George waiting patiently be the door for Fred.

Alice has probably ran out to go and try and find Oliver Wood. She's fancied him since third year and with it being his last she was finally making her move, which meant she was constantly trying to subtly be in the same place at the same time. This had gotten pretty tiring pretty quick. As much as I love Wood as a friend and he's undeniably a good captain, although massively over invested, there was only so much time I wanted to spend running around after him.

"Okay," Fred nods, giving my hand a squeeze when I press a gently kiss to his cheek before he turns, grabbing my bag along with his, and laughing loudly at my protests. He's strides towards our friends and they're all out of the door, their loud voices carrying down the hall.

The room empties out, the last few students leaving, and my dad looks at me with a knowing smile.

"Oh my god stop," I groan dramatically. Walking past him and up into his office. He follows, laughing happily. I walk round to his desk, pulling the drawer open and grabbing myself a bar of chocolate before plonking down on the sofa in the corner of his office.

He takes his own bar out, sitting at his chair and watching me with a look I can't place.

"So, Mrs Weasley has once again invited us over for Christmas Day," He informs me

"Oh great. She makes the best stuffing," I smile happily, he nods in agreement.

"You're dad is mad at you, by the way," he adds, looking slightly guilty.

"You told him?" I question, sitting up quickly. I had been planning on telling my other dad (the one who couldn't see everything I do at school) over the holidays. It just felt weird to write a letter to the most over protective man in the world about a fake relationship.

"I didn't intend to. Went home for the full moon and it just sort of slipped out," my dad shrugs. "I'm sorry kid, I know you wanted to tell him in person,"

"How mad is he?" I question with a sigh

"Lily's working on calming him down a little, reminding him how much he loves Fred, think he's more hurt you didn't tell him. James is ecstatic with your choice though," he grins

"Well I'm glad at least uncle James is on board,"

"Hey I'm on board too. I've always liked him and I see the way he treats you around school, it's sweet,"

"Thanks dad. So what are the plans over break?" I question, slightly anxious at trying to keep the facade of a fake relationship up around our families. Here no one really questioned it. But should either of my dads ask too many questions I know there's a high chance I might crack. Topped with Molly and auntie Lily who can both read me like a book. The only silver lining being Arthur and uncle James and their peaceful obliviousness.

"Well, your dad wants you home for a little at least. We were all thinking you and Harry come home for the first week. We all go to the burrow Christmas Day, then we can leave you guys there for a week. We will meet you at the station on the 1st so you can say goodbye to the family when we all come back here," he explains the rough plans the adults have made, probably over the dinner with the Weasley's that they have once a month.

"That sounds great,"

"I'll assume Fred will be staying at our house for the first week?" He questions. Chuckling slightly when I blush under his gaze.

"Yeah, if that's alright?" I question, taking a bite of the chocolate bar in my hands, mainly for a distraction.

"Of course. He can stay in the guest room. Will George be coming too?"

"Probably," I nod. He nods happily, his love of the twins and their jokes is well known. "Should assume Ron will be with Harry. Hermione is skiing with her parents over break though," I inform casually

"That'll be fun," he smiles gently. "So, how's the very first relationship going?" He questions with a smirk.

"And with that I am leaving," I announce standing up, swinging my hair behind me dramatically.

"You are so your father," he laughs, only laughing more when I flick him off.

"Love you," I call as I leave the office and walk through the attached classroom

"Love you too Mrs Weasley," he calls back with a teasing tone.

"My dads want you to stay the first week of Christmas," I inform the twins as we sit in our detention, cleaning rotten potions out of old cauldrons.

"Only fair given you are at ours the second week," George comments, gagging slightly when the old potion he is cleaning gets a little too close to his face as he moves and he clearly catches a smell of it.

I look to Fred who's already looking at me with a calm smile. "That'd be nice. Means we aren't separated once all Christmas," he grins happily. I can't help the butterflies in my stomach at his words, it's not a comment he wouldn't have made before. He always said stuff like that, even before he became my fake boyfriend. Maybe it's why I fell for him. He always made me feel so wanted.

"Might have to separate for some stuff. The toilet, showers,"

"Nope, I'm with you everywhere now. Two whole weeks that you can have absolutely zero space," he continues with a smirk. Emphasising his point by taking a step closer to me with a grin. The small distance that had been between us gone.

George starts up talking about our plans for the last week of term and the big prank the boys have planned but all I can focus on is the way Fred's arm continuously brushes against mine. I don't think I'll ever be used to the sparks his touches cause, despite how handsy he is as a fake boyfriend. I can't help myself from glancing up at him to see him already smiling down at me.

"Merlin, don't know why I bother talking to you two anymore. All you do is stare at each other all gooey eyed," George groans.

"That's what love will do to a man I'm afraid Georgie," Fred smirks.

Love? Well that's fucking new.
