"¿Por qué tengo que aprender Español? (Why do i have to learn Spanish?)" (I used google translate, pealse tell me if i am wrong), Lizzie asked, laying her head on her arm as she laid on the table. "I already know Russian, and math, and English."
"I don't know either. You already know it very well," Emilia shrugged, Lizzie seemed to speak Spanish fluently, and Russian and English. Emilia wondered if her father taught her these on the island they were on. She didn't even know that Mr. Queen knew all those languages well. "Alright, let's do something else. Math, what do you know about math?"
"I know multiplication and division and fractions," Lizzie said slowly, thinking about what she knew.
"Lizzie?" a voice traveled into the room. Lizzie perked up at the voice, sitting up instead of laying on the table. She looked over at the door as Malakai walked in, Raisa following behind.
"Malakai! You're here!" Lizzie said, happy that she didn't have to learn anymore.
"Hi!" he waved before turning to Emilia. "My mom called you-"
'Yes, and you are welcome to join. We are just going over some math skills. First, let's just talk and get to know each other, okay?" Emilia said smiling at him. Kai walked over and sat across from Lizzie, who let out a sigh and put her forehead on the table. She wanted to go play. She already spent time learning all of this, she doesn't want to keep doing it.

It was a good 2 hours until she and Kai were finally done with whatever Emilia was talking about. Something about math and then she went over Spanish basics or something with Malakai. During that time, Oliver had come home and gone upstairs for a short time, unknowingly to Lizzie.
For the last 30 minutes, Oliver had come downstairs, standing at the door watching Lizzie and Malakai listen to what Emilia was saying. Despite how bored Lizzie looked, he couldn't stop watching his daughter.
Oliver waited until his mother said goodbye to Emilia before going over to Lizzie. He picked her up, asking her how everything went.
"это было очень скучный(It was very boring)," Lizzie told him, looking him in the eyes. Olive smiled, chuckling. "Do iUhave to keep doing it?" she signed, giving him her big, sad puppy eyes. Oliver shook his head, looking away.
"No, you have to," Oliver said, trying hard not to give in. Lizzie gave a huff and crossed her arms.
"Malakai, l-let's go play," Lizzie said, she was confident in her stuttering words. She wiggled out of her father's arms and led her friend to the backyard where they played with sticks. The sticks were their lightsabers. They watched Star Wars one night and could not let it go.
Oliver smiled as he watched them play. He walked back inside after he noticed his mother was in the dining room. He motioned for Raisa to watch them for a few moments while he spoke to her. Thea walked into the room shortly after.
"Ah," Moira started as she noticed her children. "Janice Bowen. Carter's mother..."
