I kept the bike steady as Steve kicked ass behind me. We quickly crossed paths with Thor as he did his fair share of fighting. Even after many missions, I would never be truly used to Steve's fighting patterns. As he chucked his shield, it bounced off of the trees and the people's heads. I needed to skid in order for Steve to catch it in time. Just as the bike was about to tip over, I picked it back up, steadying myself and Steve as we crossed paths with Tony and Hulk. As we continued through the forest, Tony flew ahead, banging into a barrier around the building.

"Shit!"

"Language. JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield." As JARVIS talked to the team, I zoned out slightly, still keeping the bike steady. I was feeling dizzy. Now is no time to pass out. I forced myself to heal and continued on.

"At long last is lasting a little long, boys."

I chuckled, shifting my position to sit on the bike and handle it without my powers as Steve continued throwing his shield and keeping Hydra agents off of us.

"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise."

"Wait a second, no one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language'?"

"I know," Steve tapped my arm, rolling off to the side. I stopped the bike for a second, flipping forward, throwing the bike with my telekinesis at the oncoming agents. "It just slipped out."

As I stood up, I fumbled, falling forward a bit. Steve rushed to catch me. I pushed him off, forcing my healing again, trying to stay awake throughout the fight. I shook my head, doing my best to stay awake. Steve tapped my shoulder as I started to zone out a bit. I refused to falter now. I stayed with Steve on the ground, dealing with Strucker's men. Just as things started to calm down, something whizzed past, sending Steve into the air. I shook off my nerves and came through.

"We have Enhanced in the field."

"Clint's hit!" Natasha called through the coms, "Someone wanna deal with that bunker?"

I heard the familiar roar of the Hulk making his way through the forest, followed by a crash and Natasha's quick thanks through the coms. I took a deep breath as I ran to join Steve, fighting off the agents with him.

"Stark, we really need to get inside."

I tossed a few of the men away into the trees as Steve fought with his shield. I smiled back at him nodding.

"I'm closing in."

I took another deep breath as we finished off the last few agents. I dropped to my knees momentarily, letting Steve help me to my feet.

"You can return to the jet y'know. You've helped plenty."

"I'm not leaving until everyone else is."

Steve opened his mouth to retaliate, but simply shrugged.

"Just be careful, alright?"

"Yes, dad."

We chuckle, "Drawbridge is down, people." Tony called out, I cracked my neck as Steve retrieved his shield. Thor landed next to us, pushing away a few stray agents.

"The Enhanced?" Thor questioned.

Steve and I ran up to him. "He's a blur." I stated.

"Of all the new players we've faced, I've never seen this."

"Well, we still haven't." I chuckled.

Natasha's voice came over the coms, but my dizziness hit me again. I steadied myself with my powers, forcing my body to stay up. Thor and Steve had some back and forth as I came to. After the two took out the oncoming agents, I heard Thor's last words.

"Find the scepter!" And then he flew off.

"And for gosh sake, watch your language."

I giggled as Steve sighed heavily, "That's not going away anytime soon."

"No, it really won't."

Steve and I started walking towards the building, but I felt something reaching for my back. I turned to look, knowing it was nothing, but seeing a blur of blue in the distance. I smiled.

"You go on ahead, Steve. I have something I want to do."

"Oh no, you don't. I don't need you blacking out in the middle of nowhere."

"I haven't fallen yet, have I?"

"Not exactly, but we don't need to push the limits either."

"I'll be quick. I'll probably be back on the jet before you."

He shook his head slowly and sighed, "You really do always get what you want."

I smiled and headed off in the direction I saw the blur. As I got further away I activated my x-ray vision; my eyes turning a beautiful vibrant orange. I noticed footsteps on the ground, light ones that barely indented the snow. This person is quite the runner. Then, I heard a snap; probably a little animal, but I grabbed my dagger all the same. I continued to hear footsteps, quick and light. I turned, throwing my dagger at the oncoming blur as I was hit, sent flying into the air. I changed my eyes to lilac, summoning my seclusion. As soon as I landed I heard a groan, someone caught in my trap. I looked up to meet gazes with a man, relatively young with dirty silver hair and a blue suit on. I stood up and he turned to stare at me, probably shocked from my now lilac eyes, but then I realized my dagger got him right in the leg. Perfect.
