Chapter 16: Mess With the Wrong Girl

A week went by, and since Grayson and I have been spending g a lot of time together, he comes to have breakfast here or I go to his house and then we leave in his car.

We walked hand in hand to our lockers. Just kidding, he carried me on his back. It's much fun this way.

"Aww, look at you two being all cute." Dani told us.

"What can I say, I'm crazy about this little person." Grayson told her as he put me down.

"He couldn't live without me." I said as I gave him a side hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"So, when's the first date?"

"Well, we already had it and it was really good." I replied.

"I can't believe you!" We turned to see Mara. She was furious, "you changed me for her!" She screeched.

"It's always been her, Nikki is the girl for me."he gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"This isn't over!" She stormed off.

"Boy, Grayson. You sure know how to pick them." Dani told him.

"I got the best." He gave me a kiss on my forehead and then we walked hand in hand to our first class.

Lunch time came and with that came drama. We were having a blast, until it was time for me to eat my pudding.

"Nikki, you okay?" Grays asked.

"I- I." I couldn't finished the sentence.

"Shit, this has peanuts." Dani said to him.

He picked me up and drove me to the hospital. I'm very allergic to peanuts.

Daniela

I called her parents and told them what happened. What didn't make sense, were the peanuts. Our pudding was chocolate. I left the cafeteria and saw Mara laughing with another girl.

I walked over there and tapped on her shoulder. "I'm gonna take a wild guess, and say you were the responsible for, Nikki eating peanuts."

"Me," she gasped, "how dare you. I would never harm her in that way. I'm an angel."

"Yeah right." I punched her after that. "Tell me now or say bye to your fake nose and lips."

"I'll never confess." She screamed.

I laughed. "You already did by your reaction." I shoved her to the other girl and they both fell down. I opened her locker and found a bag of peanuts. "Well, well, well."

"That's not mine."

I crotched down, "oh really? Then whose it is?"

"Her." She pointed at her friend.

"You are expelled and wont be graduating high school. I'll make sure if that." The principal told Mara.

"Sucks to be you." I told her.

"Hitting her wasn't the solution you know. Remember what happened last time?" The principal told me.

"I know, but she hurt my best friend. Now I'm going to visit her, bye." With that said I left.

"I'm innocent!" She screeched.

They were able to stabilize her. That was so scary. Her lips and face were swollen, but at least she's breathing.

"Dani called us, turns out, it was your crazy ex that put peanuts." Lexi told me.

"I'll kill her." I said with so much anger.

"It's been taken care of. The principal expelled her and made sure she doesn't graduate anywhere." Isaac added.

"Good." I grabbed Nikki's hand. She was sleeping peacefully.

"Never hurt her." Lexi told me.

"Never, she's special to me." I smiled while looking at Nikki.

They stayed for a bit and then left. I told them I didn't want to leave her side.

"I took care of whory, Mara." I turned to see, Dani.

"What did you do to her?" I asked.

"I punched her and then she got expelled and never to graduate. Muahaha."

I chuckled. "Thanks, I got so scared on our way here. She was barely breathing and that made her go into a panic attack."

"She has you to protect her. Just don't break her heart." She warned me.

"Never, I'm crazy about this little person." I placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Aww, only took you a few years to finally realize that." She teased me.

I shook my head as I chuckled. "Yeah, but now I got her and I'm never letting her go."

"That's sweet." Nikki said in a sleepy raspy voice. "I'm never letting you go, either."

"Good." I placed a kiss on her forehead.

Nikki belongs with me and no one else. We're perfect for each other.
