Downfall

Chapter 15: Big Finale

It's been 5 days since we got the doll. Five crazy, sleepless night, Grayson and I take turns.

"There's a business dinner tomorrow, Sunday, and I want my family to attend. So don't make plans." Dad announced us at breakfast.

I was going to protest, but then I realized, this is the perfect opportunity to open everyone's eyes. They need to see who Brad's father really is.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I grinned.

"You're scary sometimes." Hunter told me. I laughed.

"Can I go, daddy?" Mia asked him.

Yeah, she started to call them like that five days ago. They were thrilled when those words escaped her mouth.

"Of course you can." He told her.

"Alright, let's get you clean, little one." Mom picked up Mia and took her to her bedroom.

"So, how's the paperwork going?" I asked in between bites.

"Great, we should be able to adopt her in two weeks." He smiled.

"That's awesome." Hunter added.

After breakfast, I went to the backyard to enjoy the wonderful day. I laid down on the grass and watched the cloud change shapes.

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" I turned to see Grayson. "Good morning." He gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"Morning." I smiled. "So, dad told me tomorrow night, we have to attend his business dinner, and you know what that means."

We both sat properly and smiled. It was a very devilish smile. Tomorrow night everyone will see who that family really is.

"Tomorrow is the big finale." He interlaced our fingers.

"Yes." I pecked his lips. "We're finally bringing him down. The King Bee, will know that he messed with the wrong people."

"Oh yeah." He pulled me into a ver sweet kiss. "Messing with us and our families, is going to be his Downfall."

"Daddy says, no kissing." We pulled away to see Mia, covering her eyes.

"Did he send you here?"

"Nope." With that said, she made a run. We chuckled.

"Love birds, your baby doll is crying." Mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Ugh, this project is driving me insane." I sighed as we got up.

We went inside and saw Mia with the doll. It stopped crying.

"Thank you Mia, that noise was driving me insane." I pinched her cheeks. She giggled.

"We should hire her as the nanny." Grayson whispered in my ear. I laughed.

The night of the big finale arrived. We were all sitting at the same table. Grayson set up everything for tonight. I was excited.

People went to the stage to talk about their business and all that boring crap. Well except for our parents, they weren't boring. And now it was finally Brad's father's time to talk about his business.

As he kept talking, Grayson pushed a button and it revealed him.

"Yeah, trust me, once I eliminate Isaac River, and the others. I'll be the most powerful man in the business world." Greg said to someone.

"So, when should we attack the competition?" The guy asked Greg.

"Tonight." Greg laughed diabolically.

"Hey dad, I gave everyone money so they delete the footage of you assaulting those whores, Lexi and Jojo." He said as he sat down.

"Good son. Soon you'll be taking over my business and you need to eliminate the competition. Always. Even if it gets bloodier."

"Is that what you did with, the Lombardis?" Brad asked him.

"Yes, I had to kill them." He laughed.

"You killed my parents." Ella Lombardi said as tears fell down her cheeks. She took over her family company. "You deserve death."

When we found out about this, we informed Ella. We told her about our plan to expose them. She hired a private investigator to help dig more deeper.

And when we found out that they wanted to kill dad. We informed him and he hired someone to take care of the guy that wanted to harm him. Greg always had people doing his dirty work, even his own son. He doesn't care about Brad, as long as he stays in the clear, he will throw his own blood.

"Nikki will be mine, I'll fuck her good and then kill her and throw her in the ocean. No one will ever know what happened to her. And I will kill everyone who gets in our way." Brad added as the others laughed some more.

"You miserable son of a bitch good for nothing!" Dad yelled at Greg, "you lay one hand on my family and I will personally terminate you!"

"That's not me, someone photoshopped me." Greg defended himself.

"Right, and your wife is not a gold digger." Jojo rolled her eyes. "Too bad you three wont enjoy your money anymore."

The police entered the place and arrested Brad and his family. They are going to spend a lot of time in jail. We informed the police to be present tonight. Course we told them to not come in their uniform.

"Wow, you two went to the extreme. And even though it was dangerous, you managed to get behind bars those three nasty people." Dad told us.

"When he mentioned our families, we did everything in our power to keep you all safe. People like them deserve more than jail. They kill people, and I didn't want to lose you." I hugged my family.

"You and Nikki went to the extreme and it was dangerous. But we are grateful for what you did. And you're grounded for putting yourself and Nikki in danger." Jared told Grayson.

"I know." He hugged them as they hugged him too.

Everyone thanked us for what we did. And I got grounded for a week for putting Grayson and me in danger. Dad didn't know about us digging deeper, just about someone wanting to kill him.

I felt two strong arms wrapped around my waist. "We did it."

I turned around and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Yeah we did. Now we can finish Senior year in peace."

"Even if we're still far from it." He added. I chuckled.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Finally Brad and his family will be behind bars. Where they belong.
