Chapter 28: Mine

It's been a year since all that crazy twin drama happened. Grayson and Mason have grown closer. Jojo and Jared have also gotten to know more Mason and it's safe to say, they love him. They even gave him his own room at their house. And they both drive Jojo crazy.

"Wake up." I pecked his lips.

"Five more minutes." He mumbled in his sleep.

"You're no fun anymore." I sighed dramatically.

"I'll show you fun later." And with that said, he turned around and started to snore.

I chuckled. I love this man so much.

A few days later, the roles switched. Now I was the one sleeping.

"Wake up lazy ass." Grayson shook me.

"Go away." I mumbled.

"I made breakfast your favorite." He poked my dimples.

"Grayson, you have one second to remove your hands from my face."

"You're very moody." He plopped on his side.

"Considering, my period decided to show up at 4 am, I am." I huffed.

"Alright." He answered.

He got up and left the room. Now I feel bad. I was about to get up, when the door opened up and in walked Grayson with a tray. He placed it on the bed and gave me a cheeky smile. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Breakfast in bed, for the love of my life." He kissed my cheek.

"You're so sweet." I sighed, "sorry for being moody."

"I've got used to having a moody girlfriend when her period is killing her." He grinned.

I laughed, "I love you so much Grayson."

He pulled me into a very passionate kiss. "And I love you."

We had breakfast in bed and then I thanked him for putting up with me. He was very happy.

A few days later went by. I finished my last class today. I arrived home and saw her cleaning the living room. She was sweeping as she danced to the music, I decided to scare her a little since she's distracted.

"Boo!"

She screamed and the broom went flying and landed on my forehead.

"Note to self, never scare you again." I rubbed my forehead.

She giggled. "It's turning a little red, then purple and before you know it, boom, a little bump will appear."

"I won't scare you again, well unless you're not cleaning or have a broom in your hand." I said. She kept laughing.

"Lesson learned." She kissed the tip of my nose. "I love you, goof. Are you done with classes for the day?"

"Yes, I made a reservation in your favorite restaurant. Be ready at 6 pm." With that said, I went to take a shower.

Nikki

It's been a month since we haven't had time to go on a date. Classes have kept us so busy. When we come home we study, eat and sleep. I'm excited to go out with him today.

I walked to the shower and joined him. "I figure we could save water." I said as I grabbed his manhood.

"Well, then let's save water." He smirked.

We had an incredible time in the shower and ended on the bed. I've missed being intimate with him.

"I've missed this." I caressed his face.

"Me too, babygirl." He pecked my lips.

At 5 pm, we got ready and then left the apartment. After 30 minutes, we arrived at the restaurant. The host took us to our table that was in the balcony. It has a view to the ocean.

"It's so breezy and relaxing here. Thanks." I smiled.

"Anything for you." He smiled back.

"You're being extra sweet tonight." I poked his dimples. He chuckled.

"I'm always sweet, but tonight I wanted to treat you to a nice dinner in front of the sea." He kissed my hand.

Our orders came and we enjoyed a nice meal. We talked about everything and laugh about when we hated each other. I love this man.

Dessert came and the waiter was asking me about my dress. All I wanted was to eat not talk about my clothes. As I was about to answer, he left immediately.

"What a crazy-"

I stopped when I noticed Grayson wasn't on his seat, he was on his knee in front of me.

"Nikki, I know we hated since we were toddlers, but I've gotten to know you more and I fell so hard for you. I don't want to do this with anyone but you. Nikki Rivers, will you marry me?"

Tears fell down my cheeks. Was this really happening?

"Yes, yes thousand times Yes." I threw myself at him and we both landed on the floor.

"Happiest man in the world." He placed a soft kiss on my lips and then slid the ring on my finger.

We got up and our families came outside. They cheered us and congratulated us.

"You will not get married now, please finish college and then get married." Dad told us.

"That's the plan, first our studies and then Marriage and in the future, a new addition." He smiled while caressing my face.

"I'm good with that too." I smiled like crazy.

"Seriously, no babies until you both graduate. Protection at all cost." Jojo told us.

"But we're so excited that you two are together and now engaged." Jared chimed in.

"I think those three covered everything. I'm happy for you both." Mom hugged us.

"My bro is engaged. They grown up so fast." Mason faked a sniffle. "Congrats you two. You got a great girl, don't screw it up."

I giggled as Grayson rolled his eyes.

"Party!" William, shouted. Everyone cheered and music blasted. "May I?"

"You may." Mason smirked.

Mason and William met in the library. They've been together for 3 months and are so cheesy together. I'm happy for Mason, he deserves it.

"Future, Mrs. McCarty. May I?"

"Yes you may." I grabbed his hand.

And we danced as newly engaged couple. I felt like I was in a dream. Then Mason pinched me and told me that I wasn't. It was a night to remember.
