Downfall

Chapter 30: Epilogue

Three years have passed. Ariel and Hunter had a girl. She's just adorable. They named her Skye. And the twins were also happy, they are teaching her important stuff. Like ask for cookies, and how to climb down the crib. Ariel and Hunter were not so thrilled.

"Come on, let's go to the aquarium." Grayson yelled to the kids. They love to take their sweet time.

"We're here." They said in unison as they ran.

We drove to the aquarium. Once we arrived, they squealed like crazy.

We explored the aquarium and then we stopped when Kayson, spotted the octopus.

"Octopus!" He squealed.

"Mommy, they have lots of testicles." Aurora told us. We chocked on air.

"Sweetie, they're called, tentacles." Grayson corrected her

"That what I said, testicles, don't you listen?"

Don't laugh, Nikki, don't laugh. I could see Grayson was about to lose it. And then we heard laughs. We turned to see, Mason and William. They were with, Alexa. They adopted her when she was three years old. She's the same age as the twins. Alexa and the twins went to check out the other animals.

"Testicles?" Mason laughed some more.

"That's fucking hilarious. I love those two." William added.

"How does one go from tentacles to testicles." Grayson chuckled.

"They're kids. It can be confusing learning new words." I chuckled too.

"But we will correct them at home and explain them that is tentacles." Grayson added. The others laughed.

"How's the pregnancy." Mason asked.

"Great, our little boy is about to enter the fifth month." I replied.

"How many kids are you two planning?" William asked us.

"After, this little one, Grayson, is getting fixed."

"Not my fault my swimmers are strong." He grinned while wrapping his arms around my swollen belly.

"Hey everyone." Dani waved us as she walked with Lori and their two year old baby boy.

"Look at us with kids." William mentioned.

"Yeah, it's crazy. But here we are, 9 years later, with kids. " I added.

"You think they will grow up to have an amazing bond as us?" Grayson asked as we looked at the kids.

" I'm sure they will grow up very close and protect each other." Dani replied. We all smiled at each other.

After hanging out with everyone, we said bye and went home. We arrived home and the kids got hungry. This is what happens when you have picky eaters in the family. These two prefer my food and not restaurant.

I looked at the window and saw Grayson with the kids.

"Daddy, let's play hide and seek." Aurora said to Grayson.

"Alright, you two go hide and I will find you." He told them.

"Count to 20." Kayson told him.

I chuckled. He started to count and the twins went to hide in the tree house.

The kids saw pictures of us when we were little, and they wanted a tree house like ours. So we build it with the help of our dad's.

"20, ready or not, here I come!" He yelled.

I went back to cooking. After an hour, the food was ready. I went to the backyard and they were still playing. But this time it was..

"Tag, you're it." They both said as they jumped on Grayson making him fall.

"Free cake!" The kids squealed.

They all laughed. I smiled. This was Grayson's dream that he once told me he had. Tears of happiness fell down my cheeks.

"You okay?" Grayson asked as he got up.

"I am, I just got emotional cause your dream came true. Remember the one you told me." I smiled as he did too.

"And now the dream became a reality. A beautiful one." He placed a soft kiss on my lips.

"Indeed." I pecked his lips. "Now let's go eat, this baby is making me more hungry than when I was with the twins." I huffed. They chuckled.

Grayson grabbed Aurora's hand I grabbed, Kayson's, we walked inside and enjoyed lunch. After eating, we went to the living-room to watch a Disney movie.

I looked at Grayson. "You think we would've gotten together if it weren't for the whole, taking down the king bee?"

"I think we would. Even though we weren't speaking before that, I found myself attracted to you." He pecked my lips.

"I admit, even though I hated you back then, I thought you were hot. But I wasn't going to tell you that." I grinned as he laughed.

"I'm glad we got together, look at what we created." He said as he looked at the kids who were focused on their movie.

"I love you so much." He caressed my face.

"I love you more." I pulled him into a very passionate kiss, "to be continued."

He chuckled as he interlaced our fingers. "Mine forever."

"Yours forever." I snuggled to him.

This was everything to me. In life, if you're lucky enough, you meet that one special person destined for you. I got Grayson and I'm extremely happy and grateful for him, and our amazing kids.
