[Naomi]
"When you're queen," Mikasa started from next to Historia, who was in between us; in a whispering tone. "You have to punch that runt for me."
We were standing by the side of the conference hall, as the three veterans, with the Captain of the Orvud District Garrison, were scheming their counter plan on the caterpillar titan rushing all the way here. I was oppressing a yawn and the urge to stretch my limbs like a lazy cat.
We were in the middle of imminent chaos, after all. I had to stay alert and frisky.
"Which runt?" Historia asked. It was funny because we stood up straight, faces and gazes blankly set towards the map table, yet we were discretely exchanging a quiet, sneaky conversation.
"The tiny old man who keeps sending us to our certain deaths and ruining good moments." Mikasa answered. "No offense, Naomi."
"None taken." I said, pulling back a mischievous grin. "In fact, I'd also been thinking a lot about beating him up... What can I do to help?"
"Are you serious?" Historia asked, looking at me. I met her eye-to-eye while keeping our stances in stiff accordance to protocol. "You'd get yourself on board with a prank on your boyfriend, the Captain of the Scout Regiment, Section Commander of the Special Operations Squad?"
"Before he was such a person to me," I mocked further as I returned to my straight stare, my sly grin inducing them to smile slyly as well, "He was such an arse. I think it only serves him right. Besides, were not gonna kill him, are we?"
"I wish we could, really." Mikasa said.
"Now that's a threat, Mikasa." I snickered, making her smile humorously faint to herself.
"Well, since you've got the 'strongest man in all of humanity' in love with you, then the logical contribution is to keep him at a target place." Historia suggested. "Maybe a hallway. So he won't go suspicious."
I stifled a chuckle. "I like where this is going. Which hallway? At the palace?"
"Y-Yeah, so it's on my premises." She replied.
"Hold on, Historia. Are you nervous?" Mikasa mocked, and we both held back a jeering snicker.
"It's only Captain Levi Ackerman, right? Not some Connie Springer lame dweeb." Historia said sheepishly, as a bead of sweat broke and trickled down her eyebrow.
"I heard that." Connie hissed from beside me, and I looked up at him with a grin, patting him on the back discretely as the veterans continued to measure and discuss their serious matters.
"You'll get there someday, Connie my dude. Keep working hard, maybe you'll be humanity's fifth strongest man." I said, mockingly patronizing him. He raised his eyebrow on me.
"Right, so, when's the day we get to punch nobles, too?" Connie perked up, making the three of us snicker softly.
Erwin, Hanji and Levi suddenly looked to our direction at the same time, making us abruptly stop our muffled fit of hilarity and return into our soldier composure. When the three slowly reverted back to their heated strategic deliberation, Mikasa perked up.
"So, think you could do it, Naomi?" She asked. "So Historia could get a good kickstart."
"I don't know how in the world will I get the chance if you don't do it, Naomi." Historia added.
"Relax." I answered. "I'll handle Levi's whereabouts, just tell me when and where, and you'll find him then and there."
"Atta girl." Mikasa smirked.
