I laughed aloud, as Levi's smile outshone the sun coming from the partially draped window from behind him. His hair was messy, and his eyes weren't at all completely opened yet. We had just woken up. He was beautiful.
"And how would you explain to the kids how that came to be?" I giggled, my voice taking a skidding turn as I was muffling back my laugh. As he looked down sideways, I pulled the sheet up gently to cover my chest.
"I'd tell them it's because the earth is the center of the universe." He shrugged, making me laugh again as I weakly pushed his grinning face away from me.
"You'd be raising idiots, you scoundrel." I giggled, and he chuckled softly along with me. As our laughter eventually faded away, and my senses began to perceive the comfiness of the new sheets and the fragrant breeze of early spring even more, Levi brushed the strands of bed hair away from my face gently.
"I don't understand how you always look like that." He uttered, his eyebrows furrowing. Mine furrowed too, in the same confusion his expression was showing.
"Like what?" I asked, placing my hands on his arms locking me in my place.
"Whether you're in your flashiest ball gown or like this, just waking up in the morning..." He said, "You look the same."
I giggled softly, shaking my head. "Then I guess I should take that as a compliment. I am kinda pretty."
"Kinda," He scoffed out, as if questioning the understatement I said about how I looked.
He sighed, placing his head over my chest as I welcomed him in my arms, stroking his shoulder and back comfortingly. In our shared warmth, I felt the most content I've ever been. This was the single most amazing morning in my life.
"Hey," I called softly towards Levi, who didn't even flinch. He was having a great time snuggling in my arms. "What do you want to have for breakfast?"
Levi was silent for a while, but then he rose up his face a little to look at me. "You've always been the one cooking for us. I'll handle it this time."
"Oh really?" I smiled teasingly, as he propped himself up on his elbows. He leaned closer to kiss me on the forehead. "Will there be an hors d'oeuvre to the menu?"
When he heard my suggestively-delivered inquiry, his lips curved into a knowing smile, kissing my chin. "Would you like it to be served now?"
"If the Captain could easily do so," I replied, feeling his warmth pervade my blushing face as he kissed my nose. "Then why not?"
Levi placed his lips against mine, touching and pulling away in a teasing manner. "Excellent choice, my lady."
As his whole body once again casted on top of me, I smiled and met his lips and touches like I'll never ever get tired of them at all.

"We'll have it converted to a music or arts room." I said, taking a sip of my orange juice at the chair across Levi on the breakfast table. "I've made use of the empty section at the end of the house for my study. There's another one just across from it, would you like a study too?"
"Yeah. I'll take the separate study." Levi replied, taking a mouthful of the tasty strawberry crepes he made and then pointing his fork at me. "Knowing how messy you are when you get your breakthroughs. And so damn early in the morning too."
I giggled, shaking my head as I continued eating too. "And what about the other bedroom?"
"We'll have no use of it anymore. We've already changed the mattress of the master bedroom to fit both of our tastes." He told me, before raising his lazy gray eyes to me once again and leaning closer by the second of his next sentence. "And after our little morning activity earlier, I don't think I want either of us waking up somewhere else."
