[Naomi]

The sunshine on our skin was calming as Levi and I lay there on the grassy ground, listening to the waves crash on the shore and the seabirds flying over in the long distance. On his arm, I looked up at the pure blue sky, almost cloudless, so completely peaceful.

"We'll live at the Mansion, right?" I asked Levi, as he lay there with his arm under his head. My head laying on his shoulder, I looked up at him as he put his gray gaze down on me.

"I could drive the brats out the Castle if you want to live there instead." He told me.

"You wanna live at the Castle?" I asked, propping my chin on my hands as I put them over his chest. "But it's so gloomy there."

"Most of my things are there, so are yours now that you've been living there for a few months; and it's also more accessible for the Regiment." He told me.

I nodded, considering. "Yeah. That's the... Logical choice to make."

Levi paused for a moment of looking at my face. As if he was noticing something, he tilted his head and furrowed his eyebrows. "You seem half-hearted about it."

I smiled faintly at him, and then I looked up in recalling. "It's just that my uncle, when I first moved in to my foster parents' residence, told me something I've always remembered."

"What's that?" He asked earnestly.

"He was helping me move in, explore the place... When I realized that it was going to be lonely just living alone in there with its caretakers." I said. "So I asked him to move in with me. We stipulated on a large bedroom and a study room all for himself. But he told me that... He'll settle there only after we retake the lands of Maria."

I looked down, as Levi raised his hand gently to play with the red locks on my shoulder. "He promised he'd move in after we return, so as not to make me feel alone. He told me that he wanted the Austerlitz Mansion to be the symbol of a new life."

I smiled towards Levi, who gave me a patiently listening gaze. "Which is why living in there, with you, my soon husband- would be meaningful to me. If Uncle Erwin couldn't keep his promise to me, I'll do it."

Levi rested his hand over mine on his chest. "I'll keep it with you. The Castle's too big for my taste anyway."

I giggled softly, leaning closer to kiss him briefly on the lips, and he met me nicely as I alighted where I wanted. But even as I have planned for it to be casual, he pulled me back to him, kissing me again. I giggled against his lips, making him pull away for an inch.

"You always laugh when I kiss you." Levi remarked in slight frustration. "What's so funny?"

I giggled again, shaking my head. "Nothing. Thank you, love."

"We're going to do some alterations to that place though. I don't like the curtains, and I'll be utilizing that wing you don't really use anymore." He said.

"We'll worry about it when we get back." I answered, laying back on his shoulder. "We're going to create some space for kids soon, too."

"Yeah, 'cause we'll make love so frequently that we can't really predict when the little devils will arrive." Levi said teasingly. I laughed, as he turned to his side and hugged me around the waist.

"I like that idea." I answered, smiling. "But I want no more than four children. How many would you want?"

"I want a whole unit. A whole Special Operations Squad." He answered, his voice muffled in my hair.
