7. Why?

Caitlynn pov:
Quill grabbed me by my collar once we got back on the ship.
"You gave the time stone to Thanos!?"
"I- I had to!"
"That's bull!"
"Otherwise he'd kill Peter!"
"People die everyday!"
"You're just mad because of that Gamora!"
"You take that back right now!"
"Or else!?"
I saw that he wanted to punch me but I used my heat vision and he released me.
"Bitch." He said as he left to treat his burn wound on his cheek.
Mr. Stark was helping Peter but none of the others wanted to be around me.
Can't blame them though.
Mr. Stark was the only one (besides me) who wanted to save Peter...
I heared a gasp and turned.
"Peter!" I said as I saw that he woke up.
He gritted his teeth as Mr. Stark finished with his wounds.
"Peter, are you all right?" I asked.
"I guess..."
"You were lucky, kid." Mr. Stark said and I saw the relieve in his eyes that Peter was fine.
Peter looked at me.
"You didn't acctually gave Thanos the time stone... did you?"
"I... I did..." I said and I looked down.
Knowing that Peter hated what I did.
"But I told her to." Mr. Stark said and Peter looked at him.
"But now Thanos has five of the six stones! How can we possibly defeat him now?"
"We'll figure something out."
"Oh come on. You wanted Caitlynn to doe for a stone in the first place. But letting Thanos kill me for a damm stone is different? Mr. Stark, with all due respect, I don't get what you're trying to do."
I looked at Tony.
"Mr. Stark you have to admit... Peter kinda has a point though... Not that I wanted Peter dead! Just stating the facts..." I said and I avoided Peter's eyes.
Peter got up and looked at me.
"Why did you save me?"
"Because you did the same for me."
"Quill and mr. Stark where there too, y'know."
"But you noticed me. Without you they would've never helped me out as well."
"But we should've." Mr. Stark said.
Peter looked at me.
"What else did I miss when I passed out?"
"Everyone knows about my powers... Quill must've heared the two of us talking..."
"Oh."
"About your powers, why didn't you use them to get Thanos away from Peter? Then we would still have the time stone." A sassy voice said and I turned.
"Quill." was all I said.
Peter looked at Quill.
"Were you spying on me and Caitlynn.?"
"I wouldn't dare... Spidey." Quill said with a teasing voice.
I stood up.
"Shut up Quill!"
Quill raised his eyebrow.
"Excuse me? I am not the one who gave the only other stone we had to Thanos. I didn't lie about any secret powers or anything. Besides, you don't trust any of us. So how do we know that we can trust you?"
"Both of you stop it." Mr. Stark said.

Peter pov:
I walked with Caitlynn to a different room and looked at her.
"Just ignore him. I mean he tried to kill me when we met so don't expect too much of him."
"He tried to kill you?"
"Funny story... When mr. Stark, dr. Strange and I were searching for Thor, we found Quill, Drax and Mantis. Quill held a blaster to my head and mr. Stark treated to blast Drax. Then we found out about each other that neither of us wanted to help Thanos. We work together since then."
"Were you scared?"
"To be honest? A little... It's no fun when someone holds a blaster to your head and treats to kill you."
"Yea..."
"What are you thinking about?"
"Just... Y'know nevermind."
"You don't trust me anymore..."
"What? No! I do trust you!"
"Then what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Liar."
"I'm not lying! But you... I don't think you'd understand."
"Try me."
"Mabey later..."
"Fine."
I walked away and mr. Stark looked at me.
"Hey, you'd think that Caitlynn could use a suit for the battle field?"
"What are you talking about?"
"It's obvious that she's just as stubborn as you. So she's probably going to fight with us. Like you do when I told you not to."
I grinned nervously.
"Okay you're probably right."
"I was thinking that she'd need a suit for a little protection so she could get one of my new projects, which were acctually for Nathasha but now I think Caitlynn is going to need it more."
"Cool, I think? But why do you want to talk to me about this?"
"Because she only trusts you so you can tell her about this and then she won't suspect anything."
"What should she suspect then?"
"That's the point. Nothing."
"Okay?"
I saw where mr. Stark was going...
"You already made it and now you want me to get Caitlynn don't you?"
"Well since you're offering, yes."
I rolled my eyes with a smirk and walked to Caitlynn.

"What is it Peter?" she said.
"Mr. Stark wanted me to get you for some sort of suprise."
"So now you're his butler?"
"Very funny. You're going to like this one. I promise."
"Fine..."
Caitlynn seemed like she didn't actually care until she saw it.
"Hold up- you're giving me a suit? But why?"
"Because now you are part of the team." Mr. Stark said.
"This is not a joke right?" Caitlynn asked and she looked at me.
"It's the real deal girl." I said and to my suprise, she hugged me.
"Sorry, I-" Caitlynn said.
"It's fine..." I mutteres.
AWKWARD!
"Well, Caitlynn should try if it fits." Mr. Stark said and he smirked when he left the two of us alone.
I looked at Caitlynn.
"I'll see you later..." I muttered as I walked away.
