17. Italy

Peter pov:
The plane landed and Caitlynn ran to me.
"Major news."
"What?"
"Someone likes someone who likes her."
"Who're the someones?"
She pulled me closer as she started to whisper.
"Mj likes Ned."
"Since when?"
"I don't know. But we have to get them together!"
"Deal."

Then by the douane, we got caught by a dog.
Caitlynn looked at me.
"We don't have anything in there." she said.
Those guys opend our suitcases, our suits where in there with notes of aunt Ma; 'Almost forgot these, ♡ May'
Caitlynn and I locked eyes.
Then that guy picked a banana out of my suitcase.
"These, no. You're both free to go."
I sighed in relieve and luckly, no one saw out suits.
"Close call." I said.
"Too close." Caitlynn said.
I took her hand.
"But now it's time for fun."
She smiled.

When we arrived at our hotel, the whole class was acting shocked.
"This place is floating!" A girl said.
"Tell me that we're not staying here!" Flash said.
"Everyone, you're sharing rooms in groups of three. Dropp your bags off and come back here." The teacher said.
Peter, Ned and I were sharing a room since Ned knew both of our secrets. Poor Mj, she got stuck with Flash and that Betty girl.

Once we (the whole class) were on out way to the Venice museum, thing were looking brighter.
After that I dragged Ned to one stupid shop I saw earlier, Peter seemed confused but kept talking to Mj.
"What's wrong?" Ned asked.
"Here. Give this to Mj. A black dalia. She loves those flowers." and I gave him a necklace.
"Cool... Thanks..."
"You owe me ten bucks."
"Darn it."
I grinned.
"Love has prices."
Ned and I returned and I looked at Peter.
"Come. I want to show you something." I said.
He smiled as he followed me.
"What are we gonna do?"
"Shut up. Look."
And the two of us hide behind a pilar and I pointed at Ned and Mj.
"What's going on?"
"I might have given Ned a little hint."
Ned picked the necklace out of his pocket and dropped it into the drain.
I slappee a hand to my face.
"Thag were ten bucks..." I muttered.
Peter sighed.
"Mabey next time more luck."
"Hopefully."
We walked back to the others and I took Peter's hand in mine.

Peter looked at the water.
"What?" I asked.
"My spidey sense... Something's wrong." he whispered.
Then the water just shot up and everyone started yelling and screaming.
"What's going on!?" Ned yelled.
"I'm to hot to die!" Flash yelled.
Peter and I looked at each other.
"You left your suit at the hotel as welk didn't you?" he whispered.
"Everybody go! Run!" I yelled and most of them did.
That water monster thing attacked and it actually burned.
"Ahh!" I sissed and Peter looked at me.
"Caitlynn?"
"Probably bacause of my fire powers. I can't fight it..."
"I'll handle it. Go!"
I didn't want to but I knew I had to.

Peter pov:
I wanted to use my webs but they didn't work.
"Crap."
I stood on the bridge and the water monster knocked me back and I was soaking wett.
Then this green smoke and red cape guy appeared with a big pearl as a head.
"What the-?"
I couldn't do anything without people seeing my face.
Then I saw a carnival mask on the ground and picked it up.
"Hey sir! I can help! I'm strong... and sticky."
"Lead it away from the canals!" that guy yelled.
I saved a few buildings with my webs as I followed that guy chasing the water monster.
I saw that Caitlynn pointed at a clocktower and it would break down.
"Oh crap..."
I used my webs to fix it and a lot of people were looking at the webs, thank god they didn't notice me.
I needed to hold the webs to make sure the tower didn't collapse.
It was hard and I hit my head twice against that bell.
After that weird guy defeated that water monster, I couldn't hold it anymore.

Once we were back at the hotel, Caitlynn ran to me.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine... Just a little headache..."
"Yea I saw that you hit you head against that bell, twice.
"You were low, how did you saw that?"
"I wasn't that low, I needed to stay safe from the water."
"Right..."
"Come on. Ned's already overthinking what that water think could be."
"Aw man..."

We went back inside and Ned looked at me.
"Hey, do you know who that super hero dude was?"
"He's like Ironman and thor rolled in one." Flash said.
"Not at all." Mj said and all of us looked at her.
"Ironman was way better and Thor had lightning, idiots." adn she went to her room.
"Hey look, sounds like his name is mysterio." Another guy said, yes I don't know all my classmates names!
"L'uomo de/ misterio is Italian for man of mystery. They don't acctually know who he is." Mj said.
"How did you know?" Caitlynn asked.
"I learned a little Italian before we got here."
"Cool." Ned said.
"Mysterio? He's not half as cool as spiderman." Flash said.
"What is it with you and spiderman. We get it, people save people. But there are more then one!" Betty said.

Ned looked at me and Caitlynn when we walked back to our room.
"Sp what are you guys gonna do to the water monster."
"Nothing." I said.
"Wait what?"  Ned asked a little shocked.
"Well I can't fight that water thing, look I literally got burning wounds of the water." Caitlynn said.
"Besides, the water guys is dead and mysterio is all over it. Look, we don't even want to play super heroes on this trip."
"Yea Ned, take a chill pill." Caitlynn said.
We entered our room as Ned total collapsed on his bed.
"What the-"
"You two are very hard persons to contact, Spiderman and Inferno."
We turned and saw-
"Nick Fury?" Caitlynn said.
"You two were ghosting me."
"We weren't!" We both said.
Nick Fury raised his eyebrow.
"I used to know everything. Then I come back five years later and nothing. No team. No nothing. What I do know is that a wjole village in Mexico got wiped out by a cyclone."
and Nick Fury put a triangle shaped thing on the table and a hologram of the planet appeared.
"When the witnesses saw a face on that cyclone."
Ned snorred really loud and all three of us looked at him shortly.
"Three days later, a similar event in Morocco. A whole village-"
Then our teacher came in and Nick pointed his gun and him.
"Hey, just making my rounds to see if anyone needs some emotional support after today."
"No we're good." I said.
"Yea..." Caitlynn said.
Then iur teacher saw Ned.
"Oh he's already passed out. Better keep it quiet. Good night."
Caitlynn sighed relieved as the door closed.
"Sorry, our teacher. You were saying?"
"A whole-"
The some knocked at the door.
"Hey dorks, are you sleeping already. Didn't got a reply on my text, Ned."
"He's asleep." I said.
"If anyone else knocks on that door, the three of us will attends another funeral." Nick Fury said and the two of us swallowed.
"Suit up." he said and we did quickly.
