15. School

Peter pov:
So I convinced Caitlynn to come to school with me.
"Let me guess; no using powers, bunch of homework and all that boring stuff?" Caitlynn asked on the way to the busstop.
"We get to spend more time together." I said with a sly smile and Caitlynn grinned.
"Okay you got yourself a deal."
We went on the bus and I nearly got killed we we arrived at school.
Ned hugged me really hard.
"A friend of yours?" Caitlynn asked teasingly.
Ned looked at her.
"Vanished and returns with a hot girl." Ned said.
Man this was embarrassing...
I grinned awkwardly.
"Ned, this is Caitlynn. Caitlynn this is Ned, my best friend who knows evrything."
She got the hint and Ned looked at her.
"You're his girlfriend aren't you?"
"Not officially." she said teasingly.
I rolled my eyes.
"I thought it was pretty clear."
"Okay okay."
The three of us went to class and Mj looked at me.
"Hey Peter. Good to see you again."
Then she looked at Caitlynn.
"Who's the new girl?"
"I'm Caitlynn." Caitlynn said.
"Mj."
We all took our places and the teacher introduced Caitlynn, said a few words that some vanished students (like me) returned and all that.

The four of us sat together during recess (or break, depends on what you call it).
Mj looked at Caitlynn.
"I haven't seen you here before? Where are to from?"
"Well... I was born in New york. But my dad took me somehwere else once my mom died."
Caitlynn knew how to tell the truth without spoiling her secret, awesome.
"So now you're back. What made your dad decide to come back?"
"Mabey not the best thing to ask." I said.
"Why?" Ned asked.
"My dad died a few years ago..." Caitlynn said.
I reached out hir her hand under the table but she stood up.
"I'll be right back." she said and she run off.
I stood up too and ran after her.
"Caitlynn wait." I said.

Caitlynn pov:
I ended up in a broomcloset and I sat down with my face in my hands.
Peter was following me an I think he noticed that I was in the closet.
He knocked.
"Caitlynn? Can I come in?" he asked.
"Sure..." was my answer.
He sat down next to me.
"Are you okay?"
"Yea... I just..."
Peter wrapped his arms around me.
"It's okay..."
" Are all humans so nosy?"
"No. It's just Mj, being Mj."
"And you're friends with her?"
"I used to uhave a crush on her."
"Wow... Can't see why."
"Sorry just..."
The bell rang.
"Come on, time for physics."
"Ughhh..."
He helped me up as we went to class.

"Hey Parker! Who's that girl? She's wayyy too hot for you." A guy said.
"Ignore him. That's Flash, a jerk." Peter said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Hey chick, perhaps wanting to switch from a boy to a man?" Flash said.
I turned and got a little anoyed.
"You were saying? A man wouldn't be so childish of bullying another person. Besides, you're not even half way of being a boy."
"Oh burn!" Ned yelled and Peter seemes really shocked of what just happend but his shock turned into a huge smile as Flash walked away with anger.
"And that's how you handle idiots." I said.
"Damm Peter, you really know how to pick a girl." Ned said and I saw that Mj snapped her pencil.
She's obviously jealous.
Too bad for her.
We took our seats and Peter basically knew all the answers and all.
"Are you like the major nerd or something?" I asked.
"Do you hate nerds? I can-"
"Relax. It's fine. I kinda like your nerdyness."
"Caitlynn. Peter. Can you two stop talking?" The teacher asked and I grinned softly.
"Never heared that before huh?"
Peter grinned as well and we tried to focus again.
I saw thatNed seemed pretty confused that Peter was tlking through classes and Mj was pretty jealous, kinda funny though.
But it also made me feel bad...

I walked to Mj after class and Peter stayed with Ned, luckly.
Mj looked at me.
"What do you want?"
"I want to apologise."
"For what?"
"I saw the way you looked at Peter... and how you snapped your pencil when you saw the two of us together."
"Don't worry about it."
"You're jealous on us because you like Peter."
"Not so loud!"
"Sorry..."
"Don't tell Peter. I know that you make him happy and I don't want to come between that."
"Wow... Thanks."
"Whatever."
"Can we be friends?"
"Mabey later. We have PE right now. I bet you don't know the way to the lockerrooms?"
"Nope..."
"Come on."

We changed into out PE clothes, which were terrible.
I put my hair in a ponytail and tied the shirt a little up.
Mj looked at me.
"Unbelievable."
"What?"
"You make it look not-horrible."
"Thanks."
She rolled her eyes and all the boys looked at me.
Peter smiled little.
"Hey chick, wanna have a do-over?" Flash asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Mabey if you could give your dad a condom."
The whole class started laughing and Flash grabbed me by my collar.
"Take that back." he sissed.
"You have one second to take your dirty hands off me." I said.
"Or else?"
Peter looked at me and I motioned him that I could handle it.
"Perhaps because I'm too hot for you." and I used a little heat vision.
He released me and looked at me.
"What the hell!?"
"Get lost Flash."
Ned gave me a high five and Mj grinned.
"Nice going."
Peter smiled even more.
"Hey smiley, focus." Ned said teasingly.
PE started and girls had different exercises then the boys.

Peter and I walked back to the busstop together, hand in hand.
He seemed so happy.
"How do you do that?" I asked.
"Huh?"
"After what happend, how are you so happy?"
"Mabey because you are the first person Flash runs away from. And you make me happy."
I smiled and kissed his cheek.
We entered the bus and arrived home a few moments later.
