4. A plan?

Caitlynn pov:
"So still not talking to any of us, huh?" Quill said.
"Leave her alone Quill." Peter said.
"Oh please. She's alive thanks to us. The least she could do is talk."
"I'm alive thanks to Peter. He noticed me. You did not."
"Well I did help-"
"Help for what? Peter was the only one who thought that I wasn't a waste of time. So I'm sorry that I don't want to talk to you people!" I said.
"I lile this one, she's fierce." Drax said.
"Trust me, you have no idea." I said.
"Okay, you need to calm down." Peter said to me and then he looked at Quill.
"And you need to stop picking fights."
"Oh so now we listen to teenagers? Really?" Quill said teasingly.
"You do if they're right." Tony said as he walked to us.
Peter looked at me.
"Caitlynn... Your hand..." he whispered and I saw that my anger was creating a little bit of fire.
I quickly closed my hand and Mantis looked at me.
"Fire..."
"What? Where?" Dr. Strange asked.
"Nowhere." I said.
Peter looked at me.
"You know what? Mabey we should get back at getting the stones." Tony said.
"Yea, good idea mr. Stark." Peter said.
Quill rolled his eyes.
"It's just the fact that you're acctually right this time." he said.
"So where do we find this thing?" Drax asked.
"The mind stone isn't a thing. It's a person." Tony said.
"Wait- what?" Peter asked confused.
"It keeps Vision alive." Dr. Strange said.
"Vision is technically an android but it lives like a human being with Scarlet Witch." Tony said.
"So we have another person to protect, really?" Quill said.
"I don't need protection."
"Yes you do. You're a human with no powers."
I looked at Quill.
"See, thinking that I'm a waste of time... again."
"Because you are!"
"Trust me. You're gonna need me."
"Oh puh-lease."
"Both of you knock it off. There's also another stone. The soul stone." Dr. Strange said.
"I thought the myths said that if you want to take it, you need to lose someone. A soul for a soul?" Drax said.
"What's that for crap?!" Peter said.
Quill looked at me.
"Well it's a good thing we already havr a soul for that."
All of them looked at me and Peter looked at them.
"Wait what?" Peter said.
I looked at them.
"You're joking... right?"
"Well it's not like you're part of the team." Drax said.
"Besides, it's for saving the universe." Dr. Strange said.
"Mr. Stark you're not actually with them now... Right?" Peter asked and I backed away.

I locked myself up in another room.
I could hear the shouting.
"We just saved her life and now you want her dead?!" Peter said.
"Peter listen, we need to save the universe. We need to replace the soul stone with a soul." Tony said.
"With all due respect. But that's just rubbish!"
"Well that's life. It sucks! Happy now?!"
"Tony you need to calm down." Dr. Strange said.
"Mr. Stark, trust me. You can't just do this. We don't kill people who're innocent. That's not what we do."
"No offence but how long are you playing the hero card exactly?" Quill asked.
"Long enough to know that you're acting like Thanos." I heared footsteps and walked away from the door.
Someone knocked and I can guess who it was...
"Caitlynn? It's Peter."
And I was right.
I unlocked the door and Peter looked at me.
"Don't worry. We'll figure this out."
"Did you meant it?"
"Meant what?"
"What you said?"
"You heared all that?"
"Pretty hard not to."
"Well I did mean every word of it."
I had no idea what to say.
They needed that soul stone... But I didn't want to die for people I don't trust...
Peter looked at me.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
"I think I have a plan."
"What do you mean...?"
"Come on. I need your help... and Dr. Strange's."
"Wait, what is the plan exactly?"
"I'll tell you... and the others. You'll get your soul stone."
