10. The Avengers

Caitlynn pov:
Mr. Stark kept recording these messages for people who might find us, when were dead.
According to his recorded stuff, it's day 21 and the oxygen will run out tomorrow...
Which mean, we'll be goners.
Mr. Stark walked back from his room and he sighed.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure..." I muttered.
"How was life on your planet?"
I swallowed.
"Can I be honest? I've only been there for two years. I grew up on earth. But when my mom died... my dad took me home. To the planet where we came from. It's so kuch different then earth. So peachful. Until Thanos came and destroyed everything." and a tear fell down my cheek.
"I'm sorry that you went through all that..." mr. Stark said.
I looked at him.
"You should kill me. Then you have enough oxygen for another day or mabey even two days."
"I'm not going to kill you. Besides it's not like the engine will run again out of nowhere."
I looked out of the window.
"What's that?" I asked as I pointed to some sort of fire ball thing.
"Asteroid?" Mr. Stark said.
"No, a- a person!" I said.
"Captain Marvel..." mr. Stark said.
I don't know how she did it but the ship moved to earth.

A few moments later...

"Home..." mr. Stark said and the two of us almost faithed because of the real oxygen.
"Woah... easy there..." a person said, who ever it was, he/she caught me.

After we were a little stable again, this red haired woman looked at mr. Stark.
"Tony what happend?"
But all he said was;
"I lost the kid."
The man in the mostly blue outfit looked at me for a second before he turned to mr. Stark.
"And who's she?"
"Caitlynn. Peter noticed her and then we saved her. Then she helped us as well. She's part of the team now."
"May I ask... Who are you people?"
"We are the other part of the Avengers. Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon, Hulk, Thor and Rocket."
"The raccoon has a name?" I asked.
"I'm not a rab- Wait, you actually said raccoon?" Rocket said.
"Why would you think I'd call you a rabbit?"
"Because that's how Thor calls him." Black Widow said.
"What's your hero name then?" Hulk asked.
"I... I don't have one." I said.
"Your powers are?" Captain America asked.
"Basically anything with fire."
"Then you're the Inferno." Falcon said.
"Thanks, I think? But ehh what about he Captain Marvel woman who got us out of space?"
Black Widow grinned.
"You mean Carol? You can call me Natasha. Cap. is Steven, Falcon is Sam and Hulk is Bruce. Now you're back on track." Natasha said.
"Thanks..."
"Besides. We figured out that you guys never returned or anything." Carol said.
"Yea hold up, where have you been all this time?" Sam asked.
"There were other planets. Who didn't have you." Carol said.
"But are the vanished people dead?" Bruce asked.
"No. I refuse to believe that." I said and I walked outside.
"Caitlynn wait up!" a voice said and I turned.
Rocket ran after me.
"Come on, I'm not as fast as humans!" he said once he catched up with me.
"What do you want?"
"I don't want to believe it either, okay. My whole gang- friends- ugh... my whole family disappeared. I don't want to believe that they're dead either."
"So what do we do...?"
"We need to figure this out. All of us. Okay? Please don't leave... Tony said you have amazing fire powers."
"Is that really what this is about? My stupid fire powers!?"
"What? No! I acctually care about my family!"
"Your family? The idiot, the asshole, the alien and the tree!?"
"Hey no bad words about Groot! I can't defend the other three..."
"What's your deal?"
"I can get you a home for the upcoming time."
"If?"
"If you show me your heat vision!"
Rocket seemed way too excited for this but I did need a home.
"Unbelievable that I'm making a deal with a talking raccoon..." I muttered.
"Come on."
"Fine!"
I looked at a weird looking piece of trash and burned it to the ground.
"Awesome..." Rocket said.
"Where can you get me a place to stay?"
"I was actually just bluffing."
"Stupid trash animal!" and I grabbed him by his little collar.
"Okay, okay, okay. I'll see what I can do-"
"No need. She can stay with me and Pepper as long as necessary." Mr. Stark said.
I dropped Rocket and looked at him.
"Mr. Stark, you don't have to-"
"Do you have anywhere else to go?"
"Well no..."
"Then I want to offer you a place to stay."
"Thank you mr. Stark..."
"Come on, I bet Pepper would be happy to meet you-"
"And to see you again." Steven said.
I grinned and we went (to Mr. Stark's) home.
