12. Time travelling

Caitlynn pov:
So later that evening was prtty cool.
Mr. Stark got some inspiration for the time travelling thing ans he was working for hours.
Morgan was awake and the two of us sat on the staires watching how mr. Stark used his techno nerdy magic.
"Shit." Mr. Stark said and he collapsed in his chair.
"Shit." Morgan repeated and I covered her mouth.
"Morgan? Caitlynn? What are you two doing here?" Mr. Stark asked.
"Shit." Morgan said.
"Don't say that. It's mommy's word. Caitlynn get Morgan to bed and come back to me. I have a lot of shit going on and you're not going to believe this."
So I brought Morgan to bed, she told me again that she loved me three thousand.

When I got downstairs mr. Stark looked at me.
"I figured it out."
"Wait- what?"
"Time travelling."
"Amazing!"
"Kinda... Also still riskfull."
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?"
"We're going to get everyone back."
"Yes! I knew you'd come around!"

So we were on our way to the other Avengers the next morning.
"So..."
"Don't get your hopes up. Time travelling is dangerous and riskfull." Mr. Stark said.
"But it's worth a shot."
"Yes, I know."
"And with your plan and theories, we have at least 65% of success."
"Still 35% of failure."

We saw Steve standing outside. He seemed a little upset/angry.
"You know how to make your entrance, don't you?" he said to mr. Stark when he saw us.
"Scott was turned into a baby wasn't he?" Mr. Stark asked.
"Yea..." Steven said and I did my best not to laugh.
We got out of the car and followed Steven inside.

"Okay Scott, let's go for a test drive." Bruce said.
"I can't. I ehh... I'm kinda scared."
"I'll do it." I said.
Natasha seemed impressed and I got on this time travel suit.
"Ready?" Bruce asked and I nodded.

I arrived at my planet. A few years ago. I saw my old neighbour and my dad.
I wanted to go to him and tell him that I loved him but I got pulled back.

I had tears in my eyes and the others ran to me.
"Caitlynn, hey look at me. Are you okay?" Natasha asked.
"I saw my dad..." was all I said.
"I'm sorry... Are you okay?" Bruce asked.
I nodded.
"Yea... I'm fine."
"It worked. Time travelling worked!" Mr. Stark said.
"We have only enough Pym particles for one shot. We need to gather all our information about the locations of the stones." Rocket said.

Many hours later...

Natasha and I were the only ones who were still awake.
"So if you pick the right year, there will be three stones in New York." I said.
"Brilliant!" Natasha said.
"So then we could have three teams for the six stones."
"Yes, then we'll have the stones in no time."
"Let's tell the others!"
"Perhaps after some sleep? It's 3am..."
I grinned.
"Perhaps that's the best idea."

So Natasha and I told everyone the plan the next morning.
"That's great!" Scott said.
"Remember, one shot. We have to succeed." Mr. Stark said.
"Thor and I go to Asgard for the reality stone." Rocket said.
"Caitlynn and I go for the soul stone."
"But-" I said.
"Don't worry. I have a plan." Natasha said.
"We go for the power stone." Sam and Hawkeye said.
"Hulk, Scott, Steven and I go to New York for those three stones." Mr. Stark said.
I looked at the others.
"So this is it huh?"
"Yes. Some of us lost friends, family or parts of themselves. But this is our shot to get it all back. This is the fight of our lives and we're going to win." Steven said.
"Wow, he's good at that." Rocket said.
"I know right!" Scott said.
Natasha grinned.
"See ya in a minute."

So there we were. Morag, 2014.
Natasha hugged Hawkeye and Sam.
"Take care guys. And get that damm stone." she said.
"We got this." Sam said.
"Good luck you guys." I said.
"You too." Hawkeye said.

Natasha and I got by the place and I looked at her.
"I guess here our paths end. One of us has to jump so the other gets the stone."
"I know. It was nice knowing you."
"Yea."
She hugged me and I looked at her.
"We're not talking about the same person are we?"
"You have people to get back to. You're more important."
"That's bull-"
"I know that you and Peter have something to talk about. I already said all I needed to say. It's okay."
"Keep my love life out of this. You're an Avenger."
"According to Tony, so are you."
"But-"
"It's okay." she said and she wanted to drop herself of the cliff.
I tackled her and jumped off myself, but she had this line thing tide to me and she jumped.
I grabbed her hand.
"Caitlynn let go!"
"I can't. The others wouldn't forgive me."
"It's okay."
I swallowed.
"It's okay." Natasha whispered.
She kicked herself away from the cliff and I lost my grip on her.
"No!" I yelled but she was already on the ground, dead.

I woke up in this weird lake thing, with the soul stone in my hand.
"I have it..."
And I got pulled away a few seconds later.
"Eveyone okay? Everyone back?" Mr. Stark asked.
Hawkeye looked at me.
"Where's Natasha?"
I showed him the soul stone and mr. Stark knew enough.
"What happend?" Steven asked.
"A soul for a soul..." I muttered.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked.
"Thanos will die for all this mess." I said and I thing my eyes started to have flames in it.
Mr. Stark grabbed me by my shoulders.
"Natasha knew the risks. She knew what she was doing. You need to calm down before you shoot the flames across the room. We will defeat Thanos, I promise."
"Don't make promises if you can't fulfil them." I said.

So we continued a few moments later.
"All the stones, into the gaunlet. We already discussed this. Bruce, you snap the fingers." Mr. Stark said and he gave the gaunlet to Bruce.
Bruce put the gaulet on and he got instant burning wounds.
"It's killing him!" I said.
"No it's not, hold on big guy." Rocket said.
Hulk snapped his fingers and Hawkeye's phone started ringing instantly.
Then something happend.
"Thanos..." I muttered when I turned.
"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" Thor yelled and the first explosions started.
