8. Keep it cool

Caitlynn pov:
So I put this suit on and I gotta admit, mr. Stark knows fashion😂
I walked to Peter and smiled.
"How's this?" and I used my powers a little.

He looked at me and his eyes widen.
"Wow..."
"That good huh?" I said teasingly.
"Well yea... acctually."
"Oh... Thanks..."
I think that I even blushed...
"Look who tried on her suit." Mr. Stark said.
"Well look at that, someone got a major upgrade." Quill said.
"Are you always such an asshole?" I asked.
Drax grinned.
"Just most of the time."
Peter grinned because of that coment and Quill rolled his eyes.
"Who told her that she's on the team now? It's my ship still, I'm in charge!"
"Oh puh-lease. You're even more childish then the kid." Dr. Strange said.
"Hey!" Peter said offended.
Quill, Peter and dr. Strange started arguing and mr. Stark sighed.
"Guys..."
They ignored him.
I made a fire ball and looked at those three.
"Guys knock it off or I'll burn you three!"
I would never... burn Peter.
They stopped and I made the fire ball disappear.
"Thank you Caitlynn." Mr. Stark said.
"Ugh, why did you end it before the fun started?" Drax asked.
"Not fighting with team mates." Mantis said.
"For once I agree." I said.
"The suit looks good on her though." Quill muttered.
"I'm sorry I didn't hear you?" I said teasingly.
"I said it looks good on you." Quill said anoyed.

Peter pov:
I'd like it better off Caitlynn.
Wait- what the hell am I thinking?!
Caitlynn seemed satisfied with the anoyed Quill and I have to admit, Quill was right.
The suit looks amazing on her.
"Great, we'll be off to Vision soon. We need to get him into safety. Once he's safe, so is the mind stone." Mr. Stark said.
"Who's vision?" Caitlynn asked.
"A guy who's alive thanks to the mind stone." Dr. Strange said.
"What an asshole. How are we supposed to use the mind stone against Thanos when that guy needs it to stay alive?" Quill said.
"Even if we would use it, Thanos has the  other five stones. He'd be way to strong." Mr. Stark said.
"So we lose in both ways?" I said.
No one answered and Caitlynn looked at me.
"No. Because if we're not that strong, we'll be smarter. That's what they used to say at home. The ones who're weak will outsmart the strongest."
"How?" Drax asked.
"We can make a plan. Thanos only counts on the power of the stones. Not on the plan."
"She has a point." Mantis said.
"So... We just need a good plan?" Drax asked.
"Yea, that could total work! Mantis uses her mind control power thing to make Thanos all dizzy and then Mr. Stark and I take the Infinity gaulet. Dr. Strange, Quill and Caitlynn make sure that Thanos stays in potition and Drax could sign when someone else comes around."
"Wow kid, that's actually a great plan." Mr. Stark said.
"Let do this!" Drax said.
"I bet there would be a better plan but this could work." Quill said.
"You're never going to admitt it when me and Peter have a good idea, are you?" Caitlynn asked.
"Never."
"He admits it in his head." Mantis said.
"Oh shut up."
Peter and I grinned and mr. Stark looked at all of us.
"Let's get the gaunlet."
"Yea!" All of us said.
"Then let's get going." I said and mr. Stark filled in the coordinates of Titan, he said that Thanos would be theree for sure and the ship started to move to that planet.

Once we arrived, we split up.
We all hide except for dr. Strange.
He was the one who'd tell Thanos that it's over and then we would take the gaunlet, together.
(Outside story note; in the movie Infinity war, Nabula is with this group but now she isn't because of Caitlynn)
I looked at Caitlynn and she nodded, just like Drax, Mantis, Quill and mr. Stark.
Thanos appeared and I saw that Caitlynn clenched her fists.
I motioned her to calm down and I thought she did.
Then we started our plan.
I used my webs to come closer but Thanos threw me away, literally.
"Damm that hurts..." I muttered.
Caitlynn atacked Thanos but she layed next to me and she stood up as fast as she could.
"Come on Peter, get up." she said while she rolled her eyes.
She helped me up and we went to the battle again.
Dr. Strange used his magic to hold Thanos and so did one of Quill's gadgets and Drax hold Thanos by the legs.
Caitlynn ran over and I used my webs to keep Thanos on his place as well while mr. Stark went for the gaunlet.
Dr. Strange made a portal and Mantis landed on Thanos neck. She used her powers and Thanos was in anguish.
"Is he under? Good." Mr. Stark said.
He looked at me.
"Peter, help. Get over here."
The two of us started to pull on the gaunlet and Quill looked at Thanos.
"Where's Gamora?"
"My Gamora..." Thanos muttered.
"That's bull-shit."
Quill got a little pissed and Caitlynn walked to him.
"Wherw is she?!" Quill yelled.
"He's in anguish! And he mourns." Mantis said.
"Mourns? For what?" Drax said.
"Gamora." Caitlynn said.
"Wait- what?" Quill asked.

Caitlynn pov:
Quill looked at me.
"What are you talking about?"
"Think about it. You said Gamora was his daughter and that she hated him. Plus rhe fact that she wanted o fight against him."
"He killed her..." Quill said softly.
Thanos groaned and mr. Stark looked at me.
"Calm Quill down before he-"
But Quill got mad and I jumped between him and Thanos and smused my fire to hold him off.
"Quill grt hold of yourself!" I yelled.
"We almost got it off, get it together!" Mr. Stark yelled.
"You asshole! You killed Gamora!" Quill yelled.
Then Quill suprised me.
He blasted me and I got stunned.
"Caitlynn!" Peter said.
"Focus kid!" Mr. Stark said and Quill punched Thanos.
Mr. Stark grabbed Quill's arm.
"Stop it! Stop it!"
"It's coming! It's coming!" Peter said but then Thanos got control back and took the gaunlet back.
He threw Mantis away.
"Oh god!" Peter yelled as he dived in to save Mantis, which he did.
I was still stunned and the others were kinda screwed.
Thanos kicked Drax against Quill and dr. Strange used his magic to fight with Thanos, just like mr. Stark used his powers.
