"Holy fuck, my head." I held my head as I began to sit up on my bed. I instantly began to think about last night. "Fuck! The sheriff." I said. "I need to tell him!"

"Tell him what?" I heard from the doorway. My head snapped towards the sound to see an unknown girl than sing there holding a tray of food and orange juice.

Then, I looked around the room in confusion and saw that it wasn't mine. Ignoring my aching head, I jumped out of the bed and grabbed the nearest object I could find: a book about wolves. How ironic.

"Who the hell are you and where the fuck am I?" I raised the book higher, ready to strike. But the girl, however, wasn't fazed.

"Woah, calm down there." The girl entered the room and placed the tray on the bedside table and took a few steps back with her hands raised, letting me know that she meant no harm. "Billie told me to bring this to you."

I relaxed a little at the mention of the blue-eyed girl. "Billie?"

"Yeah, she brought you here last night. Said she found you unconscious in the middle of nowhere."

"Where is she?"

"She's having a few of the guys take a look at your car. By the way, girl, what the hell did you hit? Coz that dent you got is enormous!" She laughed.

"You still never told me your name." I reminded her.

"Evie. I'm one of the family doctors."

"There's doctors here? With an s?" I asked with a look of confusion.

Evie nodded with a chuckle. "Yes. With an s. Now, eat and when your ready, come downstairs."

"I don't have a toothbrush.." my voice trailed off, kind of timid to ask for a spare.

"There's extras in the bathroom mirror." She said. I nodded and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth before breakfast. "By the way," Evie began. I halted in my tracks and looked at her. "You never told me who you were."

"Ava." I simply said. Evie nodded with a smile and exited the room, probably going downstairs.

I found the spare tooth brushes and tooth paste. I grabbed one and started doing my business.

After I was finished, I went back into the room and looked at the tray of food. It consisted of a plate of toast, eggs, and bacon with a side of orange juice...and a letter?

I didn't even see that at first. I took the folded piece of paper and read it.

"When you're finished here, come out to the back. Hopefully, your car will be finished by then.
~ B"

I smiled and set the letter aside. Picking up the tray and putting it on my lap, I started eating.

Billie's pov

"What do you mean, you're not done? Jared, it's been hours!" I was frustrated at this point.

"Bil, you overestimated my work, here. This door is beyond fixing. I'm sorry." Jared was the only one on the property that had any experience with cars. I just felt so bad about the car that I wanted to fix it quickly before Ava sees.

I looked up and saw Evie coming out of the house which made me perk up a little.

"How is she?"
