Never in Ava's life has she ever sleep so comfortably. Don't get her wrong, her bed is her favorite place to be, but this bed is so comfortable, it sinks a little when you lay on it— like laying on a cloud.
The dark haired girl's comfort was short-lived as a knock on the bedroom door decided to interrupt her sleep. Ava groaned once again, mumbling along the lines of "go away" and "leave me alone". However, the knocking never ceased, forcing the sleepy girl out of bed with an over dramatic sigh.
"I'm coming, Jesus!" Ava hissed as the knockings continued, opening the door to reveal a smiling Billie, mid-knock.
"Hey! Uh— wow, you look like you've just woken up." Billie said as Ava just stared at her with a blank look, making her a little bit nervous.
"What time is it, Billie." Ava's voice was monotonous as she tried her very best not to yawn in front of the young werewolf.
"Uh, it's....5am." Billie purposely avoided Ava's wide eyes as she heard the other girl gasp.
"Five?!" Ava whisper-yelled. "Billie, you woke me up at fucking five?! Only psychopaths wake up at five!"
"Okay, a) not a psychopath, and b) I still haven't given you a proper tour around."
"A tour?"
Billie nodded.
"At fucking five?!"
Billie sighed and chuckled. "At fucking five, because I was going to watch the sunrise with me. Please?"
The two of them stared at each other for what seemed to be forever, but was only a few minutes before Ava let out a sigh of defeat.
"Fine. But it better be worth it." She grumbled, stepping aside and allowing Billie to enter the room as Ava excused herself to go into the bathroom where she proceeded to do her morning routines.
After a few long minutes, Ava exited the bathroom and saw that Billie took the unnecessary liberty to tidy up the whole bedroom. "Bil, you didn't have to—"
"I wanted to. I was getting bored." Billie rubbed her neck as the tiniest hint of pink flashed across her cheeks. Hopefully, the other girl didn't notice. "You ready? To go, I mean?"
Ava smiled and walked passed Billie to the door. "Like I said, this better be worth it."
•
"This was not worth it, Billie!" Ava shrieked as she accidentally ran into a huge spider web that hung between two trees. Billie just laughed at the other girl as she observed from a few feet behind."I said to watch where you step, Av. This is a forest, after all." The blue-eyed werewolf said, turning the other girl around so she could help dust off a few remnants of spider web.
As Billie picked out the last of it, she just began to notice how close their faces were to each other. Ava's breath hitched as she stared into those icy blue eyes, a small flutter in her stomach when they glanced at her lips for a split second.
As if shaking out of a trance, Billie pulled away a little as her head turned left and killed into that direction for a moment. She then turned back and smiled warmly down at Ava, who's still in her own world only to be interrupted by Billie's voice.
"I hear water." The ocean eyed girl said with a smile, raising her eyebrows challengingly.
Ava paused to take a listen, only to be met with silence and a few bug noises. "I don't hear anything."
Billie leaned forward, their noses barely touching. "You're not a werewolf." She then reached for Ava's hand, pulling her in the direction of the sound of running water.
Soon, they arrived to the most beautiful sight either of them had ever seen...second most beautiful sight either of them had ever seen.
Right before their eyes was a huge waterfall that led into a few watering holes or pools. Billie let go of Ava's hand as she began to take off her clothes, starting with her beige shirt.
When the other girl saw this, her eyes widened as she stuttered out, "uh-Billie! Wha-what are you doing?"
Billie flashed an excited smile at her, continuing to strip until it was only her black sports bra and her black shorts. "Don't know about you, but I am going to swim." The black haired girl proceeded to take off her pants, revealing her black Calvin Klein boxers.
Ava blushed at the sight, quickly turning around and earning a laugh from the girl behind her.
"Don't be a wuss, Av." She heard before the sound of Billie's laugh and a loud splash was heard behind her, making her turn around.
"In one of the pools of water, Billie emerged to the surface, whipping some water from her face and looking up at Ava with a huge grin. She cupped her hands around her mouth for amplification as she called out to the other girl. "The water's just fine, Av! Come on!"
Taking a step back, Ava began talking to herself, hyping herself up for the big jump. "Okay, Ava. You got this!" She started pacing in the edge on the flat surface of the the cliff. "It's just a small jump, and it's just water! You can do this! You're not a pussy!" Turning around, the look of determination on her face, Ava stripped down to her matching pink bra and panties.
Billie looked up, waiting for the other girl to come down as she bit her lips, afraid she might have weirder the girl out and cursed herself.
Then, she heard a sudden scream, making her look up once more to the sight of Ava jumping off the edge of the cliff in a cannon ball motion. Billie shielded herself from the surprisingly huge splash the smaller girl had emitted before laughing in excitement as Ava emerged from the water with a huge smile eating away at her face.
——
The sun had gone down way sooner than either girls expected, both too lost in their own little world. It wasn't until the water began to get cold when they both decided it was best that they dress up and head back to the house.
Their stomachs hurt from laughing too much and their faces hurt from smiling. It was nice to be able to get away from all the drama, even if it's for a little while.
On their way back, Billie insisted that she'd walk Ava to her room, to which Ava tried to decline many times. Finally giving in as a blush creeped onto Ava's face, they arrived in front of said girl's door, standing in silence.
"So—" they began to say at the same time, causing each other to laugh. As the laughter died down, Billie let out a nervous chuckle.
"I had a great time today." She said, smiling softly at the other girl.
Ava nodded. "Same." Was the only thing she managed to say, too caught up in the beauty that is Billie O'Connell.
Blue stared into brown, occasionally glancing at each other's lips as the space between their faces gradually decreased. Their noses brushed against each other as their breaths became one.
Then, a sudden jolt of confidence courses through Ava as she stared at Billie's plump lips, biting hers as a reflex. "It was definitely worth it." She whispered, her breath tickling the other girl's lips.
"I—"
Billie was cut off as Ava quickly put a hand on the back of her neck and pulled her in, their warm lips finally meeting in a soft and sensual kiss.
