This should've gone out yesterday, but happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates!
We usually go to my grandma's house, and she always makes the food, but due to the obvious circumstances we couldn't go. This is the first time we've ever made a Thanksgiving dinner. My sisters got fancy and made a menu with all the food and name tags for everyone. I'll try to get a picture of the menu. We got tablecloths, fancy china plates, candles, and all that jazz.
We don't have Thanksgiving as a dinner, we usually have it as a late lunch. And it's a good thing we did that, because we lost power at 2:30 ish. We heard a few crackling sounds outside and the lights flickered a bit, then the power went out in the whole house. The energy company estimated that the power would be restored at 6 pm. Imagine if we were still cooking... It was a bright, sunny day, so it was random that we lost power. Luckily, it didn't actually take until 6 for the power to come back, it was at the latest 3:30.
