"I still don't understand why he didn't call you!" Huffed Nami with a frown.
"I know right!" You grumbled with her. You had now passed onto the sad state of a break up and were stuffing your faces with diet ice cream. At least you cared for each other's figures. "I mean! One would think that years of friendship and relationship would at least mean something to him!"
Nami had finished her rant and you had told her exactly what had happened. Now you were both mad at Zoro.
As it should be.
"Do you want me to talk to him?" Asked Nami.
"No! I won't even acknowledge him!" You said with decision. "That idiot jerk." You grumpled, putting a spoonful of the diet chocolate ice cream in your mouth. "This shit is gross by the way." You looked at Nami with innocent eyes making her burst out in laughter.
"Here. Try mine." She had vanilla.
"Anyways, I don't know Nami. I mean, I want to ignore him and be a bitch!" You started, but were interrupted by Nami.
"Yes, he deserves it!"
"But I still love him Nami..." You whispered as your eyes filled up with tears.
"Ah shit." Muttered Nami. "I guess it's time for the good stuff." She murmured, standing up and going to your favorite cabinet. The one were you stored your drinks.
She took out a bottle of Tequila and gave you a shot, later beginning to prepare a Margarita cocktail. You pushed the disgusting ice creams aside and waited patiently for her to finish with a small smile. She was such a good friend.
"(Y/N), if you ask me, I would wait for him to make the move. I mean, aren't you pissed? He just waltzed his way into your life making your boyfriend break up with you without a freaking warning, and now here you are. Vulnerable and lonely."
Well thanks for the very accurate yet hurtful description, Nami.
"You're right." You mumbled, taking the glass of cocktail she had offered you and clinking it with hers.
"Still, (Y/N)." She now spoke seriously, eyes locking in yours while she put her own glass down. "Zoro is the love of your life. He fucked up, let him fix it on his own, but don't ever let him go again. I'd never be dumb enough to abandon a love like that." She chuckled darkly.
"It's not funny." You whined like a baby, taking another much larger sip of your glass. "What should I do then?" You pouted.
"Just wait."
"How did Law look by the way?" You asked, voice trembling as you feared things with Zoro would get fucked up even more. Nami had seen Law on her way over to your home so she must've seen how all of this had actually affected him and not how he wanted you to see it affected him.
"Oh, he looked bad. He liked you much more than you think." She said giggling.
"It's not funny." You repeated, hands now covering your face as you groaned in frustration. "I shouldn't have ever dated him. I was selfish and a jerk to him. He deserved better." You mumbled against your palms.
Nami laughed, nodding in agreement.
"Well, what are you going to do about it heartbreaker! He was looking for it. You repeated and repeated that you weren't necessarily available for a new relationship and he kept pushing you. His fault."
"Ugh." You let your head fall on the table. You were frustrated.
"There there..." Said Nami, chuckling at your ridiculously depressed form as she patted your back. "You'll see in a couple of days this will fix itself."
