((TW // Zombie warning again lol ))

The mist came down from the mountain tops. It flowed down the stone walls like an ancient water fall. It covered the cool Earth with white and silver, you only saw what the mist wanted you to see. You only felt what the mist wanted you to feel. It made you feel like you only existed, because the mist allowed you to. So when the fog settled and became still, his three partners vanished like they were never there.

The air was stagnant and almost dead, it carried with it an unnerving yet faint scent of burning. Burning what? Burning wood? No... Burning food? No... Burning... Burning flesh. It was quite the contrast to what Ant was experiencing. He was in bliss, while Sapnap was in terror.

"Hello?" Sapnap called out though his voice didn't carry. It was as if he stood in an empty room all alone. His voice bounced back towards him.

There was an electricity in the fog, it caused the hairs on Sapnap's body to rise, standing up on their own. Even though it wasn't hot, Sapnap began to fell hot air surround him and start to suffocate him. Bullets of sweat formed on his brow. The sweat started to trickle down his face, dripping down his body. Why'd it get so damn hot? Sapnap tugged at his armor, it was becoming unbearable now.

In a moment of weakness, Sapnap forced his armor off, throwing it and his battle axe to the ground in disgust. Once his body was left unprotected, the air cooled into a comfortable coldness. His body chilled and he stopped sweating. The violent thoughts and fear that ran rampant through him cease, leaving Sapnap in a state of deceitful bliss.

Dragging his eyes around, he took in his very limited surrounds. As he did so, he saw someone in the near distance. Sapnap focused on them, narrowing his eyes in an attempt to make out the figure. The silhouette was one of a human. They were short so Sapnap immediately thought it was George, but as the person grew near, their details became refined.

It was the boy from his dreams, the boy he couldn't remember. It was Clay. Same age, same height and clothing, same everything. But he looked sad. Very sad. Clay's green eyes had turned a shimmering silver. They were droopy and half closed, Sapnap took note of the tears forming along his bottom lid.

"Clay...?" Sapnap asked meekly. He rubbed his eyes, unsure of what he was seeing. Sapnap knew he wasn't dreaming. He wasn't, was he?

"How could you...?" Clay sniffled, walking closer. "How could you leave me?" A gentle stream of tears started to flow down his paled face.

"I-I don't even remember you!" Sapnap begged.

"You forgot me!" Clay screamed, his voice becoming slightly caught and distorted.

Overcome with overwhelming emotion, Nick collapsed to his knees before his former friend. "I'm so sorry..." His words were choked with tears. "Please I-Im so sorry..." He croaked.

Clay tilted his head to the side slightly. A small and pitiful smile spread across his bluish lips. As Clay came closer, Sapnap noticed how dead he looked. Paper-white skin and dull eyes. His blueish lips and dark veins showing through.

Sapnap wasn't so sure this was Clay anymore. But he was so scared and confused, he didn't have time to comprehend it. "Nick..." Clay hummed.

He felt every ounce of will vanish from his body in an instant. Teenage Clay and adult Sapnap shared a common height. Once Clay was only a few inches from Nick, he too collapsed to his knees.

"I can make it all okay again..." Clay whispered. Sapnap's clouded amber eyes met Clay's. They were no longer colored, but pure black. A permanent tear stain laid on his white cheeks.

"O-okay..." Sapnap gulped, swallowing back his tears. Somewhere off in the distance, the faint sound of rapid splashing could be heard, as well as soft yelling and screeching, but Nick didn't notice.

Clay smiled wider. From his back pocket, Clay pulled a dagger. It was old and rusted, made from century old iron. Sapnap nodded solemnly as Clay placed the dagger on his throat. Sapnap shut his eyes, he was ready.

"Sapnap!" Someone yelled out, someone new. Sapnap shot open his gaze and looked around.

This angered Clay, though it wasn't Clay anymore. "No!" He howled out. Sapnap looked at it and screamed out, attracting whoever called him towards him. Clay had become grey. His skin, or rather its skin was ragged and torn, dripping off the bone like raindrops falling off a tree branch.

It clutched Sapnap in it's dangerous grip, refusing to let go. The fear started to boil over now, Nick started to hyperventilate. He tried to get up, he tried to get away but it had him in it's clutches.

"Help!" He cried out, begging for mercy.

"Get away from him!" It was Ant's voice this time. Through teary-eyed vision, Nick looked to the left, seeing a soaking wet Ant drop an equally as wet Bad to the floor and rush over to Nick and the thing holding him.

With the force and eagerness of a playful puppy, Ant charge at the beast holding Sapnap. In a swift motion, Ant tackled it to the floor. With the two engaged in a violent tussle, Bad crawled his way across the floor to Sapnap, his leg wound leaving a small trail of blood behind. Bad propped himself up on his good leg and grabbed Nick's shoulders.

"Sapnap, hey, it's okay-" Bad gulped, trying to bring the hysterical Sapnap back to reality.

A sudden and loud grunt sounded as whatever Ant was fighting tossed him to the side. It scrambled to all fours and hissed violently at Ant then scurried away into the fog. Ant croaked and gagged as the wind was knocked out of him. Ant slowly sat up, forcing himself to breathe.

"Oh muffins... Ant! Are you okay?" Bad called as he wrapped the sobbing Sapnap into a soft hug.

"Y-y-yeah!" Ant stuttered with a dismissing way of his hand.

"Good..." Bad turned his attention back to Nick. "It's okay, we're here and we got you..." Bad hummed, stroking Sapnap's long hair. "It can't hurt you anymore..."

Ant gathered himself and joined the two men. Sapnap's cries had softened into ginger whimpers. Ant sat down beside them, rubbing Sapnap's back to help him relax.

"Will he be okay?" Ant asked with concern.

"Yeah... he's in shock. Whoever he saw must've been too much for him to handle." Bad explained. Bad adjusted himself, sticking his wounded leg out while sitting on his good one.

"What were those things?" He asked as he took a look at Bad's leg. It was a clean cut, not deep. He'd be fine.

Bad chuckled. "Two of the sisters." Bad sighed heavily.

"Two? Aren't there three sister Rejex?" Ant asked playfully. There were three.

And then it hit them.

Ant and Bad looked at each other in unison. Their two pairs of eyes widened. Together, they yelled:

"George!"
