Crestfallen

not so long ago
I had my sweet taste of death
i came face to face with an enthralling beauty,
the paradise wrapped in man made fabrics
with orbs that seem like seeping blackholes
digging deeply through my lifeless soul

his crimson red lips tasted salvation
as though a redeemer descended
from my unsung dreams
it's though i finally had a grip
of a love i was craving for so long
neverminding the graceful fall after all

but then i never knew fate can be this playful
or maybe i was just blinded by this sweet misery
just when i thought it was a splendid chaos,
i was thrown back into an abysmal pit of agony
when he soothed my stitches and burns,
he just planted his sweet thorns, leaving me lifeless
and when he stitched his honey glazed euphony,
it turned out to be another elegy
for a love that will die too soon
he had me lifeless on my knees
another tear stained doll under the pale moonlight
with wounds inflicted by an illusion
little did I know, it was tragedy
personified as him

tragedy is his name,
an indelible memory
etched in my skin
a lifeless howl in the midst of this
it was no doubt, i became a willing victim
to his poison, now all i am
is a fallen angel trapped in the ruins
of his memory
