8. Please stay

"Abhi?" Mayan called him for gaining his attention while tracing his fingers in Abhi's hair.

"Yeah." Abhi replied as he buried his face at the hook of Mayan's neck, taking his fragrance. He was still scared that Mayan going to reject him and wanted to secure this moment.

The warmth of Abhi's body was not only calming Mayan's body but also his heart. He hold him closer to his body while trying to calm his heartbeats.

"Where have you been from a week?" Mayan asked still holding him close while rubbing small circles on his back.

"With a friend." Abhi whispered and blew out his breath on Mayan's neck, making him giggle because of tickling.

Oh tickling. Abhi smirked at his thought and did it again making him break down into the laughter.

"Hey! STOP." Mayan tried to push him away but Abhi caught his hands, holding them down as he looked in Mayan's eyes. Mayan's eyes were sparkling and it make him happy. Suddenly the thought of rejection came into Abhi's mind and he released him.

"Sorry." Abhi apologised as he tried to stand up but Mayan pulled him back down and settled him down on his lap.

"I want to ask you something." Mayan said and sat up with Abhi on his lap. Abhi nodded at him still looking away from him because their faces were so closed that if he looked at him then he would end up kissing him senselessly.

Mayan turned his face to him but Abhi turned around again. With a sigh Mayan hugged his waist and placed his face on his chest, hearing the calming rhythm of Abhi's heartbeats.

"Why you did not come back?" Mayan asked in a whisper still holding back his tears, thinking about his horrible nightmares and the time he spend here alone, regretting about pushing him away.

"You told me to stay away from you." Abhi replied him as his arms circled around Mayan's waist, hugging him back.

"But I didn't tell you to stay away for a week." Mayan argued in a small voice.

"But you didn't call me either." Abhi point it out then released him from the hug.

"Maybe I should go now." Abhi announced as he removed Mayan's hands and stood up. He looked back at Mayan then leaned down, kissing his forehead then walked ahead to his bags which he left at the door.

The tears which Mayan held back before, were flowing through his eyes. His mind was telling him to let him go away but his heart, was crying for Abhi. He did not want to lose him again. Even the thought of staying in this room alone again, scared him.

"Plea-se stay." A small request came from Mayan, stopped Abhi in his track. He stood still fighting with his inner voices. Thinking about worst to be happened in the morning or maybe Mayan regret it again. A pair of arms wrapped around his waist, stopped his train of thoughts.

"Please stay." Mayan whispered again as buring his face on his back. The tears falling from Mayan's eyes wetted his shirt and was enough for Abhi to melt.

"You will regret it." Abhi warned him soflty but turned around, hugging him, claiming his lips in a toes curling kiss as he pulled him up on his body like a baby and without breaking the kiss, he carried him into the washroom.

"You should bath. I am waiting outside." Abhi broke the kiss and placed him down on the floor to take a bath. He turned ON the bathroom's light and moved away.

"Are you not dirty?" Mayan asked watching his back and tensed shoulders, still thinking about to convince him to stay.

"Yeah." Abhi murmured without turning around.
