U were all I wanted, all I ever wanted but I wasn't even a thought to you and more than anything else I'm scared of fading from your life so completely that when you see me again you won't know me. We will be perfect strangers and you might find relief in that but it remains my greatest agony. These are sorrows you will never know because I showed you the shiniest parts of me and even that wasn't enough to make you stay. I'll polish myself and get new paint if you come back, I'll wipe it down everyday if you would just stay. Please just stay.
