Lilly's POV
The rain poured down as my hair and clothes were all wet, I had just stolen some money from a couple and it wasn't all that much but it could feed me though
I had met somebody who was a Fire Dragon Slayer named Bryan from a guild called The Protectors
I had met him when i was visiting my mom and dad and he was pretty nice, I never really told him about my current situation of being kinda homeless and being a thief
For today, Bryan had told me to meet him at his house and so he gave me his address, I was infront of the house and.. Is this a house or a mansion? Im being honest, Is he THAT rich to afford something like this?!
I walked towards the door as i knocked, The door opened revealing Bryan "Oh! Lilly, There you are! I was worried that something has happened to you, Come in your pretty wet" He widened the door as he let me inside
Everything was so beautiful "This is your house?.. It looks amazing!" I said still amazed as i could hear him chuckle "You can explore later, First. Lets get you bathed and some new clothes" I looked back at him as i nodded
I followed him as i sneakily took his wallet from behind and hid them in my pocket, Both of us walked inside the bathroom as he took some clothes from a closet that is linked to the bathroom
(I don't know how Bryan's house is like so im making things up-)
He took out some kid clothes that somehow looks like it fits me "Why do you have children clothes? Do you have a child or something?"I ask as he chuckled before shaking his head no
"I don't, I just have children clothes for when a time magic incident happens and somebody turns into a child or a baby" I tilted my head in confusion "Time magic?" He nods "My Fiancee is a Time Mage"
"You have a fiancee?- Wait- Oh sorry! I was just very curious!" I blushed in embarrassment as i rubbed the back of my head "Its fine and yes, I do have a fiancee anyways you can go in" He opened the shower curtains as he closed it once i was in
Bryan's POV
Lilly held out they're clothes once they were in as i took it before leaving the room to go to laundry room but as i was about to put it into the basket i had noticed a wallet in it and it somehow looked like my wallet
And it was infact my wallet, I had remembered Lilly slipping up and mentioning that they have a job to do whenever they leave
Was Lilly a thief or something? I let out a sigh, Of course they are.. "Bryan?.." I looked behind to see Lilly in they're new clothes as they're hair was all wet
"Hi Lilly" I threw they're wet clothes into the basket as i put my wallet inside my pocket again "Hi! What were you doing?" They tilted they're head in confusion
"Hey.. Lilly.. Can you be honest with me right now?" I kneeled down to they're height as they tilt they're head more getting confused "Okay?.."
"Are you a thief?" They're eyes widened "W-What?!" I could see the shock and worry in they're eyes "N-No im not!" "Lilly.. Please.. Be honest with me, Im not going to be mad" I said in a calm manner as they look down in dissapointment
"I am.." I let out a sigh "Hey.. Don't be sad, Im not mad.. I was just asking since i saw my wallet inside of your old clothes pockets.. Im not going to kick you out.." They looked up at me
"I just wanna ask.. Do you have any money to actually take care of yourself?" They shook they're head "I have little to no money.. I live in an apartment but i don't have money to pay so im going to be kicked out soon"
"You know you can stay with me, Right?" Lilly's eyes widened "Wait.. What?! You mean your going to take care of me and make me live in your house?!" I let out an aww seeing the glimpse of hope suddenly appear in they're eyes
"Yes, Yes i am and infact im going to be adopting you" I smiled as they pulled me into a hug "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Lilly repeated as i laughed
Lilly let go of the hug as they smiled "Oh by the way, Once the storm is over, do you wanna meet the Protectors Guild? You can now also call me Dad and you can call Jakey mom- If he wants to be called Mom-"
"I'll be happy too!" They smiled as i laughed "Lets go watch some TV while were waiting?" They nod as both of us walked towards the living room to watch some TV
